Duties & Responsibilities:
- Interdisciplinary Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons across Humanities and Social Sciences (including history, geography, or economics) alongside upper-secondary English Language and Literature.
- Critical Literacy: Foster advanced critical thinking, persuasive writing, textual analysis, and global awareness among upper-secondary students.
- Assessment & Feedback: Design analytical writing assignments, document-based assessments, and standardized rubrics aligned with international curriculum standards.
- Professional Collaboration: Work closely with the high school faculty to coordinate cross- curricular literacy initiatives, curriculum mapping, and holistic student support.
- Community Engagement: Maintain proactive, professional communication with parents regarding student progress in language proficiency and humanities coursework.

Languages:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in English, History, Geography, Humanities, Education (with a relevant major), or a related discipline.
Work History:
- Teaching upper secondary English and/or Humanities subjects. for 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with Western Australian Upper Secondary pathways or similar international frameworks is preferred.
- Skills: English proficiency (written and verbal), strong classroom management for mature learners, cultural adaptability, and a commitment to fostering analytical inquiry.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Targeted Instruction: Deliver focused, high-level English lessons tailored to upper-secondary students, concentrating on academic writing, literature analysis, and exam preparation.
- Skill Development: Enhance students' reading comprehension, advanced vocabulary, structured essay writing, and communicative fluency for university readiness.
- Targeted Assessment: Grade assignments, provide constructive and actionable feedback, and track student progress against established international benchmarks.
- Departmental Alignment: Coordinate closely with the full-time English faculty to ensure lesson content complements the core secondary curriculum.
- Student Support: Provide targeted guidance and support to students needing extra assistance with English proficiency or advanced literature modules.
