Founded in 2005, Journeys Within Our Community (JWOC) is a non-profit organization based in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Our mission is to work in partnership with Cambodian youth to help them fulfill their potential in education, employment, and the sustainable development of their communities.

We are excited to welcome a passionate and committed individual to join our team as a Scholarship Program Officer.

Scholarship Program Officer

Position Summary

Schedule: Fulltime in Including Sunday (Day off: Friday-Saturday)

Starting salary: 280-330 USD (based on experience)

Age: Youth below 35 years old are encouraged to apply

Nationality: Cambodian only

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Implement the recruitment process as planned for student’s enrollment in the Scholarship Program
  • Deliver career guidance training and facilitate sessions related to their career opportunities
  • Provide mentoring and support needed to students within the program, with support from the management team
  • Build and maintain relationship with partners such as universities, NGOs, private sectors and others
  • Asist Program Coordinator in running events that improve student relationships and well-being.
  • Other tasks assign by the Program Coordinator.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in any field, especially Education
  • Knowledge or experience working with youth and people from diverse background
  • Experience in teaching/training, mentoring and or providing guidance
  • Having strong leadership skills with critical thinking, creativity and good communication
  • Good English and Computer skills
  • Friendly, enjoy meeting people and able to form & maintain good relationships
  • Willing to work in a team that values quality and is open to ideas
  • Available on Sunday as part of working schedule
