Scholarship Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Join our passionate team at REACH Siem Reap as a Scholarship Officer! We're looking for an experienced individual with a passion for expanding the opportunities for impoverished youths through further education.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Youth Career Pathway Guidance: Host consultations with youths to help them identify and navigate their future career paths. Provide comprehensive support to twelfth-grade students in exploring and planning their post-graduation career options.
  • Scholarship Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage all aspects of institutional and donor-funded scholarship programs. Maintain and update scholarship policies and procedures.
  • Design, launch, and manage online and offline scholarship application processes. Coordinate closely with partner NGOs to effectively announce and promote scholarship opportunities.
  • Clearly communicate and explain scholarship availability directly to students and their parents. Advise students, parents, faculty, and staff on scholarship opportunities and related financial aid matters.
  • Prepare workshops and presentations to educate the community about scholarship resources and opportunities.
  • Application Process & Support Ensure that all scholarship applications are preceded by a signed agreement from both the student and a parent/guardian.
  • Provide comprehensive guidance and support to students throughout the application process, ensuring all submissions are properly organized and meet requirements.
  • Coordinate the collection and review of application materials, including transcripts, essays, recommendations, and needed documentation. Submit finalized applications to collaborating NGOs in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Scholarship Selection & Awarding: Facilitate the scholarship selection process, including organizing and supporting scholarship committees. Develop and apply fair and transparent evaluation criteria. Verify applicant eligibility and financial needs.
  • Prepare and issue scholarship award notifications to selected recipients. Process scholarship disbursements in coordination with the financial aid and human resource departments.
  • Scholarship Results & Follow-up Maintain close oversight of scholarship award decisions and results. Keep close communication with partner NGOs to convey appreciation for the opportunities provided.
  • Donor Relations A primary point of contact for scholarship donors, providing updates on their funds and scholarship impact. Coordinate the comprehensive update from scholarship recipients to donors which will include thank-you letters, and education reports.
  • Administrative Management & Reporting Ensure that all administrative tasks related to scholarships and youth pathways are systematically organized and recorded properly. Maintain accurate and confidential records of all scholarship applications, awards, and recipients' data.
  • Generate regular reports on scholarship utilization, impact, and donor contributions for internal stakeholders and donors. Manage scholarship management databases effectively.
  • Submit a thorough overview of key activities, difficulties encountered, and suggested resolutions to the Youth Pathway Team.
  • Partnership & Collaboration Expand the reach of scholarship opportunities through strategic collaborations with partner Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure everything is organized to respond to the needs of the students in receiving scholarships, fundings or disbursements.
  • Alumni Engagement Build and develop a comprehensive alumni strategy, including the establishment of a robust communication system and necessary supporting documents.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with alumni in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Professional Conduct & Development: Policies and professional conduct: professional work within policies, codes of conduct, including ethical social practice, child protection, and confidentiality.
  • Undergo ongoing training workshops hosted internally and externally by other organizations.
  • Conduct oneself in a manner both inside and outside of the workplace which promotes the values and ethos of REACH.
  • Lead by example by hosting team-building activities, constantly thinking of ways to motivate the students within the program.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Fluency in verbal and written Khmer.
  • Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written English. 
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree or graduated
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in NGOs is desirable.
  • Ability to work well with children and gain their respect.  
  • A clear understanding of child protection and local laws. 
  • Good computer literacy skills (Must have experience in the use of E-Mail as well as Microsoft Word and Excel) 
  • A passionate individual who wants to work with a progressive, dynamic, and creative team in an NGO setting.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Strong organisational skills & the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Human Resource & Administration Assistant (1 Position)

Position Summary

Join our passionate team at REACH Siem Reap as a Human Resource & Administration Assistant! We're looking for an individual with a passion for supporting Human Resource and Administration Work. 

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping Role:Enter daily receipts collected from all staff into the accounting spreadsheet & store receipts in the correct folder.
  • Enter all expenses payment from REACH 's bank accounts into the account spreadsheet & store the receipts in the correct folder. Enter all income from bank accounts into the account spreadsheet & store the receipt in the correct folder.
  • Daily checking petty cash receipts from team members who has signed from petty cash voucher and enter them into the account spreadsheet. Prepare monthly receipts and payment voucher for director to sign, and keep in back in the expenditure folders for annual audits
  • Follow up in telegram PC chat and enter all the payment into the account spreadsheet.
  • Administration: Registration new staff for attendance machine Download and record weekly staff attendance from attendance system for all team departments and drop back to all leadership on asana.
  • Monthly scan and store the food check list and print out new sheet for the new month and give it to the security guard. Make the probation card for new team members and store the headshot in OneDrive.
  • Submit the paperwork at relevant ministry departments, if they need or take any paperwork for the school director to sign, if senior administrator needs.
  • Explain the benefits and prepare documents to register NSSFs’ for new team members who don’t have NSSF’s card.
  • Update annual planner, and annual public holidays for the next year. Update staff leave on Leave Spreadsheet and update on staff leave calendar on outlook, for any staff who take leave from 3 days update.
  • Prepare monthly staff birthday vouchers and give them to team members after senor administrator signs and stamps.
  • Update team birthdays in asana and outlook calendar.
  • Finding new quotations for new suppliers or when we need to do the quotation, for next order. Helping finance manager to prepare the documents for the annual audit. Enter all receipts for the monthly tax return E- Filling system.
  • Update assets registration Weekly Meeting with kitchen team and organize snacks for each department, if they need.

Join our passionate team at REACH Siem Reap as an Education Administration Assistant! We're looking for an individual with a passion for supporting administration work in Education Department.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Daily Attendance Support: Call and record reasons for absences; enter data in spreadsheets; support drop-out follow-up.
  • Material Management: Organize and distribute weekly worksheets, stationary requests, and teacher resources; maintain inventory and cleanliness.
  • Document Management: Upload scanned student records, attendance logs, and official documents to digital storage.
  • Public School Reports: Track and report on student report book submissions from public schools and update to relevant team.
  • Library & Test Support: Prepare and support library space and materials for elective and oral test sessions.
  • Breaktime & Activity Materials: Maintain play materials, request and restock supplies as needed.
  • Internal Communication: Record and share meeting notes, manage weekly schedules in REACH team chats.

  • Clear understanding of child protection principles and local laws
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and support various tasks
  • Good communication skills with children, parents or guardians; able to provide clear and timely updates.
