GrapeSEED Cambodia is the local representative office of the program, based in Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh Capital. We specialize in teaching English using fun, natural methods for young learners 4-12 years old. The local business in Cambodia has been developed for about 1 year, with parterships with schools in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Kampot, Tbong Kmom, Mondolkiri, and Siem Reap.

Sales Representative

Position Summary

Reports to: Country Director

The Sales Representative will: Expand the customer base of GrapeSEED Cambodia through sales activities and school support. Develop on-going relationships with new schools to introduce the program to them. Ensure positive results at partner schools in terms of quality of implementation and the number of students recruited and retained.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Master an in-depth knowledge of the GrapeSEED curriculum and business model, including methods and materials used in the curriculum, and the implementation model for GrapeSEED.
  • Sales:
  • Research prospective schools and update our customer database.
  • Research prospective schools and compile a list of potential customers in our current area of business.
  • Create a plan for connecting and following up with schools.
  • Maintain detailed records about what has been done to reach out to various schools.
  • Contact prospective customers to schedule presentations and share about the GrapeSEED program.
  • Introduce the program to schools through phone calls and messages.
  • Make appointments to meet with school administrators to give a presentation about the program.
  • Introduce proposals for marketing and expansion strategies to fit the local environment.
  • Account management / School support:
  • Coordinate with schools to create an implementation plan.
  • Advise schools in a marketing strategy to introduce the curriculum to parents.
  • Help schedule training sessions for teachers.
  • Send monthly invoices and follow up if there are late payments.
  • Promote a cordial relationship between GrapeSEED and schools.
  • Present GrapeSEED as a representative of the company at Parent Presentations and other official events. Occasionally translate from English to Khmer for these events.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Work History:
  • At least of B2B sales experience for 2 years is preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Good listening and speaking English
  • Tech-competent (MS Office, PC, projectors).
Soft Skills
  • Strong presentation and rapport-building skills.
  • Professional, positive, proactive, and high-integrity mindset.
  • Preferred: Experience with cold calling for sales.
  • Preferred: Experience with B2B sales.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of English teaching methodologies.
