Position Summary

Level: S1

Report To: Commercial Manager (CM)

Department: Commercial Department (CD)

Schedule: Monday-Saturday morning

PURPOSE: The Sales Supervisor at KOFI is responsible for leading and managing a sales team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring sales targets are met. Key responsibilities involve training staff, monitoring performance, setting work schedules, and handling customer escalations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive performance and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and team management
  • Supervise and lead a sales team to achieve sales target by month / yearly.
  • Ensure achievement of SKU distribution target.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Motivate the team through goal-setting and incentives.
  • Assign tasks and manage schedules for the sales department.
  • Optimize resources to enhance territory performance.
  • Sales and operations
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to increase revenue
  • Track and analyze sales data to report on performance and KPIs to management
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking products
  • Ensure correct product pricing and attractive store displays
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations 
  • Customer relations and problem-solving
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and returns
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Monitor sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and quality service.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, though not always a strict requirement. An associate degree can also be beneficial.
Work History:
  • Typically requires of successful sales experience, sometimes in a specific industry for 2 to 3 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Leadership experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or informal leadership role, such as mentoring new hires, is often required.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) is usually required.
  • Coaching and mentoring: The ability to coach and develop the skills of sales representatives is a key responsibility.
  • Computer skills: Proficient computer skills, especially with MS Excel and PowerPoint, are necessary.
Soft Skills
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for guiding and motivating a sales team.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal abilities, are crucial for interacting with team members and customers.
  • Problem-solving: The ability to analyze problems and make effective decisions is necessary for overcoming challenges and maintaining momentum.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical capabilities are needed to interpret sales data and metrics to drive decision-making.

Sales Team Leader (General Trade)

Position Summary

Report to: Commercial Manager

Location: Phnom Penh, Showroom

Schedule: Monday – Saturday (Morning)

Expected: Urgent start

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage sales teams in General Trade Channel
  • Support Top Team in formulating and implementing sales and marketing strategies
  • Develop new business by engaging and enrolling prospective customers into the trade program via phone and email outreach
  • Development and maintenance of detailed project plans
  • Detailed tracking and reporting employing Project Management tools and discipline
  • Maintaining end-to-end responsibility for project resolution
  • Producing the highest level of quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Implementing effective programs to improve the quality and timeliness of services while reducing costs is expected
  • Maintaining tight controls through adherence to policies and procedures
  • Manage customer relationship and partnership to catch up market growth
  • Develop and implement company master plan and budget
  • Delivery of approved plan and budget
  • Increase brand awareness, distribution network, customer base and product lines
  • Delivery of superior customer services including before, during, and after sales service,
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly sales forecast and high accuracy rate vs. actual
  • Regularly keep Top Team apprised of the sales and marketing activities and their impact,
  • Event indoor and outdoor to coordinate team to work smart and hard,
  • Ensure market insights (Own products, competitors, industry trend, substitute products, complimentary products, etc.) is timely and adequately maintained and being intelligently utilized for successful sales and marketing activities,
  • Other tasks will be assigned by line manager

Languages:
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree in Management, General Trade, Operation, Marketing, or Relevant Skill
Work History:
  • Working experience of sales and marketing General Trade for 3 to 5 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience in sales filed for more than 3 years in FMCG business especially in General Trade
  • Experience in team management
  • Good knowledge of Marketing, Operation, and Management skill
  • Good project management skill in General Trade Store
  • Training and Coaching skill to develop team new SKU and sale skill
  • English proficiency, be able to operate Ms. Office and associated programs
Soft Skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and partner with different level of the organization to achieve results
  • Strong interpersonal skill and good presentation skill
  • Ability to work professionally and under high pressure
  • Having a strong team work style and high commitment
