Sales Manager – Freight Forwarding

Position Summary

Location: Cambodia

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell freight forwarding and logistics services to potential clients across various industries.
  • Conduct in-depth cost-benefit and needs analysis to develop tailored logistics solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong and long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Resolve client issues and complaints promptly to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and deliver results within specified timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management regarding client feedback, market needs, and potential service improvements.
  • Continuously enhance personal knowledge, skills, and professional growth through feedback and learning.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics solutions and international shipping (air, ocean, and inland).
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Fluent in Khmer and comfortable in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of sales concepts, customer psychology, and buying behavior.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills.
