Sales Manager​

Position Summary

Direct Report: Country Manager

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our vegetable seed sales operations in Cambodia. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing dealer and retailer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the agriculture and seed industry in Cambodia and a proven track record in sales and team leadership.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • JOB OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets in Cambodia.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, and inventory management.
  • Manage and expand the dealer and retailer network across key agricultural regions.
  • Identify new areas of growth and products to drive future growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to guide product and pricing strategies.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities, field demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the agronomy and product development teams to align product offerings with market needs and success launching.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
  • EXPECTED RESULTS
  • Keep management informed through monthly reports on sales performance, activity in each region, market situation, and competitor activity.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Eduction:
  • Master’s or Bachelor's degree or higher in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, Business Development or related field.
  • Experiences:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the agricultural input industry, preferably in seeds (vegetable seeds highly preferred).
  • Proven experience managing dealer and retailer channels in Cambodia.
  • Familiarity with regional cropping patterns and vegetable cultivation practices.
  • Skills:
  • ​ Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate the team.
  • ​ Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • ​ Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
  • ​ Willing to travel extensively across the country.
