Sales Manager
A Logistics Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing sales teams focused on logistics solutions, including freig ht forwarding, transportation, and warehouse management. They develop and execute sales strategies, build and maintain client relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This role also involves identifying new business opportunities, managing sales performance, and collaborating with other departments to optimize logistics processes.
- Guide, mentor, train, and manage teams of sales representatives, setting goals, and monitoring performance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing strategies to secure new accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Work with various departments, including operations, marketing, and customer service, warehouse and delivery to ensure seamless execution.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and customer demands to inform sales strategies.
- Regularly report on sales performance, providing analysis and forecasts to senior management.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients and suppliers.
- Address logistical challenges and provide solutions to ensure smooth operations.

- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience in sales and business development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, result-oriented, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Understanding of logistics principles, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
