KJC Farm is a social business poultry farm in Siem Reap, supported by Australian NGO Dana Asia. We raise high-quality chickens in biosecurity, international-standard facilities. All profits from chicken sales support local farmers with stable jobs, training, and income that help families move out of poverty.

Sales and Marketing Manager

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

REPORT TO: KJC Operations Manager

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Contract: 6-month probation period, extendable upon performance.
  • Work schedule: Monday–Saturday; Cambodian public holidays and standard annual/sick leave provided.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Draft and implement a sales and marketing strategy to expand KJC’s market, with a focus on hotels, restaurants, and premium outlets.
  • Set achievable sales targets and deliver on them through direct engagement and proactive selling.
  • Carry out regular market research to understand customer needs, competitor products, and pricing.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Client Engagement & Business Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, procurement managers, and restaurant owners, including expatriate decision-makers.
  • Act as the face of KJC when meeting clients, confidently communicating both product quality and the farm’s social mission.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and follow-up to build long-term partnerships.
  • Marketing & Promotion
  • Plan and deliver practical marketing activities, including social media, direct outreach, and small-scale promotional events.
  • Communicate KJC’s unique value: premium-quality chicken and measurable social impact for local farmers.
  • Support branding and promotional materials that highlight both product quality and poverty alleviation outcomes.
  • Social Impact & NGO Alignment
  • Ensure that all sales activities are aligned with KJC’s mission of improving livelihoods for smallholder farmers.
  • Clearly articulate the social impact of KJC in all customer interactions.
  • Provide feedback to management on how market growth is improving income and opportunities for local communities.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with farm management, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth delivery of products to clients.
  • Report regularly to KJC management and Dana Asia on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Experience:
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally in food, hospitality, or FMCG sectors for 3 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Understanding of marketing tools (social media, promotions, direct outreach).
Soft Skills
  • Passion for social impact and willingness to represent KJC’s mission in every interaction.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage hotel and restaurant clients.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Khmer and English language skills are essential.
 
 

Sale Person

Position Circumstances

  • Salary: $200 - $225
Position Summary

REPORT TO: KJC Operation Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Call/Visit potential customers & record the status
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers professionally;
  • Develop new markets and, where appropriate, products.
  • Lead on the development of a long-term sales and marketing strategy for KJC new and existing products (chicken products, vegetables).
  • Be responsible for introducing Products /providing services to customers coming to the branch.
  • Take care of product stock, arrange replenish and take care of the sales space to be ready for sale at all times
  • Organize activities sale of the branch (work as team)
  • Report on marketing outcomes and suggest any improvement for better results
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Management, Sales, Marketing or other related fields
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Minimum 1–2-year experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Soft Skills
  • Honest, methodical and well-organized approach to sale
  • Able to get both clients and colleagues to understand and remember the take home messages
  • Good in Khmer and English language skills
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills – to deal with customers and external contacts.
