National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) is a public administrative establishment, which has a broad public health mandate, which three main functions: i) laboratory, including serving as the national reference laboratory, ii) research, mainly focusing on providing the Ministry of Health with health system research and policy support, and iii) public health training, including MPH and MSc programs in Epidemiology, Nutrition and Hospital Administration.
National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) is currently seeking contractual staff to work at the Technical Office as a Researcher

- Support public health, epidemiology, and health system research activities
- Conduct literature searches or desk reviews on assigned research topics
- Carrying out research and providing technical inputs (writing concept note, budget plan and statistical analysis skill etc) into research development.
- Support developing research proposal
- Carrying other tasks and activities as advised by the NIPH management team.
- Cambodian citizen
- Holding a relevant university degree such as master’s degree in public health, health planning and policy, Master of Sciences (in Epidemiology, Sociology, and other Social Sciences discipline), or other relevant degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in health data sciences, epidemiology research, health system research, public health research or closely related fields.
- Strong health research experience and data analytical skills (being able to handle STATA, SPSS, R software, or Python etc).
- Have published at least 2 papers preferably as the first authors (in a peer-reviewed journal)
- Strong experience in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent command in Khmer and English.
