For over 45-years, WorldFish's data, evidence, and insights have shaped practices, policies and investments to end hunger and advance sustainable development in low- and middle-income countries. Embedded in local, national, and international partnerships, our work sets agendas, builds capacities, and supports decision-making for climate action, food and nutrition security, sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, blue economy, OneHealth, and AgriTech, integrating gender, youth, and social inclusion.
Research Specialist is responsible for coordinating or taking lead on, as appropriate, the implementation of various CRP and bilateral projects as assigned. This position also provide senior administrative and managerial support to the project leader, and be responsible for the overall coordination of field interventions, including planning, budgeting, partner relations, and external communication. The position will also provides substantive technical inputs, facilitation, and research support to various other WorldFish projects, and especially integrating participatory action research (PAR) methods and tools in planning, implementation, and M&E and documentation of project outcomes and impacts.
Time frame and location
This position will be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with travelling to other sites as required.
The successful candidate should be available to commence ASAP for an initial one year fixed term contract, with possibility of extension depending on performance and funding situation. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with the job level.
