Duties & Responsibilities:
- Key Responsibilities
- Learn and be able to implement the Standard Research Process, standard operating procedures, internal coordination (within the assigned team, support and operations team, other internal teams) and external coordination (assigned clients).
- Work closely with the immediate supervisor and ensure aligned goals for the business unit and the company.
- Assistance in Liaising with clients: This includes taking client briefs, documenting minutes of the meetings and communicating with clients regarding details of requests for quotes (RFQs), and projects from set-up up to the presentation of results
- Responsible for maintaining and growing the syndicated retail audit service (RTA), support, manage, lead the whole Retail Audit process
- Client management, analysis and report writing
- Responsible for handling, maintaining and growing the business through other consumer studies both Adhoc and Tracking.
- Assistance in Proposal Preparation, Project Management, and Deliverables Preparation under the supervision and close coordination with immediate supervisor: This includes the below tasks:
- Having a clear understanding of the client’s requirements through discussions, emails, meetings.
- Prepare Job Estimate requests with clear details of the project requirements, draft costing, project schedules based on the discussions with clients and internal teams/operations
- Coordinate with field and data processing group for costing of potential projects
- Prepare proposals as per project requirement
- Update all team members concerned with project progress throughout the mobilization, implementation, analysis, and reporting stages
- Assist or lead project briefings to ensure that research is conducted following Indochina Research standards and client specifications
- Work closely with the project staff (Fieldwork, Quality Control, and Data Management), sub-contractors, and management to plan and organize work for research projects to ensure efficient and effective management and coordination of research projects and project schedules are met (includes validation of fieldwork data)
- Inform Client Management Group and clients of any issues that might affect the timely completion of projects, and identify possible solutions to those problems, to ensure they are resolved.
- Prepare analysis and research reports within a satisfactory standard (storytelling, well structured, accurate information & with analytical comments/headlines and accurate data interpretations) and submit to the Business Unit Head review before the delivery date to the clients
- Churn data using Power BI, Excel, SPSS and/or other statistical software which will be used as research information or as an additional ‘’meat’’ to the story of the research findings
- Assistance in Business Development Initiatives of the Business Unit
- Attend meetings with clients / prospective clients together with RMs/SRMs
- Help develop business by searching for prospective clients (can be done via email or calls)
- Be an ambassador and advocate for Indochina Research within networks throughout Cambodia to build its reputation and increase its share of commercial research spending in Cambodia
- Compliance with Administrative Guidelines and Procedures
- Maintain accurate project expense records to ensure compliance with Indochina Research financial administrative procedure

Data Management Executive

Duties & Responsibilities:
- To be the main person to handle the data management of the Syndicated Retail Audit of IRL - from database scripting, data cleaning, data encoding, integration of data to Power BI software, ensuring correct data (including historical data)
- To be the main person who can use the Power BI for RTA/Ad hoc projects from creating a data source to Visualization
- To work on other IRL projects (ad-hocs or tracking, Commercial Research or Social Research) from database scripting (using available survey software in IRL), data cleaning, data encoding (if needed), and data tabulation (offline or online)
- To design project databases (CSPro, SPSS, and Survey-To-Go) that fulfil the analysis needs of the project. If paper survey, ensure that data punching can be carried out quickly and accurately and that all required quality checks are in place.
- To brief and train Data Management Group/DMG Staff on the DMG requirements of each project to ensure that each project is completed correctly and efficiently.
- To liaise with the Quality Management Group and Field Management Group to solve any data quality issues related to data entry and cleaning and ensure that data punching is completed according to schedule
- To carry out data cleaning procedures, in accordance with IRL quality control procedures, including documenting the actions taken to clean the data
- To support the DMG as needed to prepare data tabulations, conduct detailed data analysis and produce reporting outputs within agreed deadlines
- To immediately report to DMG Head any difficulties that may impact on achieving project deadlines so that they can be resolved as soon as possible.
- To attend project briefings as required with relevant CMG and other staff so that questionnaire and other survey documents and project schedules are understood.
- As requested by the DMG Head, oversee data entry and quality control of DP staff to enable accurate and efficient analysis and interpretation of the survey data.
- To become one of the key members of the Digital Team to identify and execute digitalization efforts of the company and processes

- Has experience with online dashboarding software such as Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.
