Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) since its establishment in 1895, has operated the world's most extensive field conservation program, focusing on nature's strongholds and protecting half of the globe's biodiversity. In Cambodia, WCS has been active since 1999, dedicated to conserving the nation's unique wildlife and landscapes. Our efforts span vital regions such as the Eastern Plains, Northern Plains, and Tonle Sap, targeting species like the Asian Elephant, Bengal Florican, and Siamese Crocodile. 

The Cambodia program takes a comprehensive approach to conservation, combining scientific research, community-based initiatives, and partnerships with local governments and organizations. From protecting carbon-rich tropical forests to mitigating the impact of zoonotic diseases and illegal wildlife trade, the WCS Cambodia program promotes conservation efforts across various issues and ecosystems.

Summary

WCS/Cambodia is currently considering seeking a Request for Proposal of Audit on External Audit for FAO and ACAR Audit and Annual Tax Declaration, please see the attached for more information, specification, and requirements.

We are seeking competitive and economical pricing. You are therefore invited to submit a proposal with USD price in accordance with the above requirements.

WCS Cambodia invites qualified audit firms to submit proposals for either or both of the following assignments. Each assignment will be evaluated under its applicable RFP and Terms of Reference.

Eligibility

  • Be a legally registered audit or accounting firm authorized to operate in Cambodia.
  • Hold valid business registration, patent tax, VAT registration, and relevant professional licences or authorizations.
  • Have demonstrated experience in external audits, financial statement audits, expenditure verification, or agreed-upon procedures.
  • Have experience working with NGOs, international organizations, or donor-funded projects.
  • demonstrate knowledge and experience in applying ISRS 4400.
  • Have the capacity to audit financial statements, submit audited reports through the ACAR e-filing system, and support the Annual Income Tax declaration to the General Department of Taxation.
