Announcement Description

ActionAid Cambodia (AAC) is seeking for proposals from competent contractors for the supply of 6 solar pumping systems. Specifications are indicative as technology from different manufacturers may vary. Please refer to the table below for some required specification. Suppliers must quote for a fully functional system and provide sufficient technical information with their quotations to allow for a thorough assessment. Please consider that systems will be installed in partly remote rural areas of Cambodia.

ActionAid Cambodia will make a decision of the most economical option based on technology, quality, prices quoted, delivery time and budget availability. ActionAid reserves the right to not award any contract if quotes received are non-satisfactory. Also, AAC reserves the right to award multiple contracts if necessary.

All proposals shall comply with the requirement below:

Bill of quantity (BoQ):

The BoQ shall include the detail cost (per unit) of all components/parts of the solar pumping systems and shall express in United States Dollars (US$) inclusive all costs, taxes, etc. AAC reserves the right to customize the specification of the system if required. Thus, the new total budget will be calculated based on the cost of each component.

Technical specification and scope of works:

Please refer to the table above for the required specification. The proposal shall include the product description which the specs and its manufacturer can be identify. AAC would prefer high quality product to its price.

Submission Requirements

Sketches and drawings:

All necessary drawings and sketches shall be submitted to AAC for better understanding of the product/system i.e. the sketch of the whole solar pumping system, the drawing of water tank support etc.

Work-plan:

The work-plan shall clearly specify the plan for mobilization and transport of equipment, personnel and material to the work location, especially the date of completion of all solar pumping systems. The installation of the solar pumping system must be completed and be able to fully operate before May 10th, 2020.

Evidence of registration:

The proposal shall include a copy of:

  • Certificate of registration
  • VAT registration (if applicable)

Past performance and references:

  • Maximum of 3 pages of past performance describing similar work completed in the past shall be included.
  • At least three (3) references should be provided, including the name of client and contact.

Interested suppliers are invited to submit their proposals in sealed envelopes to ActionAid Cambodia’s office in Phnom Penh.
