Announcement Description

Conservation International-Cambodia Program (CI) has worked in Cambodia since 2002. CI has multiple conservation projects in the Central Cardamom Mountains National Landscape, Tonle Sap Great Lake, Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary, and in the Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park. CI works in close partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, other international conservation and development organizations, local non-governmental organizations and the private sector.

Conservation International-Cambodia currently has extensive local country insurance in place. However, we would like to extend an invitation to brokers in the market to participate in a competitive process to provide local brokerage services, as part of our commitment to open and transparent procurement practices. As we continue to grow and expand our initiatives, amongst others financing in addition to the traditional conservation initiatives, we continue to value partnering with a reliable and knowledgeable insurance broker to ensure the protection of our assets and the well-being of our team.

CI Overview

CI Cambodia has four main strategic conservation programs:

  1. Tonle Sap (Freshwater) Program,
  2. The Central Cardamom Program,
  3. Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary Program and
  4. Veun Sai-Siem Pang National Park Program.

CI Cambodia has actively supported the development of integrated programs for these landscapes to fund conservation efforts using rights-based conservation approaches, science-based field demonstrations, and climate financing mechanisms—including a conservation trust fund and a REDD+ project. CI’s mission is to protect Cambodia’s natural capital for people to thrive.
