Announcement Description

Helen Keller Intl (Helen Keller) has conducted three multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) studies in Cambodia: (1) a non-inferiority trial comparing IFA to MMS acceptability and adherence; (2) a Trial of Improved Practices (TIPs) exploring strategies to optimize adherence behaviors; and is currently conducting a (3) a mixed-methods study to assess health system readiness for transitioning to MMS through antenatal care platforms in Takeo Province, Cambodia (Takeo MMS roll-out).

All three studies include substantial qualitative datasets requiring rigorous coding, analysis, and synthesis to inform manuscripts and programmatic recommendations.

The Cambodia team currently faces bandwidth constraints and has limited in-country qualitative expertise. While one trained coder (Senior M&E Officer) is available, she is over-extended through mid-2026 with data collection activities and the closing out of YR2 Transforming Lives. The qualitative datasets require an estimated 100-150 hours of focused coding and analysis, even with close technical supervision and pre-developed codebooks. Engaging Independent Consultant will enable timely coding, data analysis, and manuscript preparation while simultaneously strengthening internal capacity through mentorship in qualitative coding for Project Manager, Program Support Specialist, and other interested M&E staff.
