World Vision is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian humanitarian aid and development organization that is dedicated to helping children and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty. Our work touches approximately 100 million people in nearly 100 countries, assisting people regardless of religion, ethnic background, or gender.

WVI-C is seeking the external auditor service to audit two projects.

Summary

Objectives and Scope of Audit

The objective of the audit is for the auditors to conduct audit reviews for FY25 financial statement as follows:

  • The auditors shall express an independent professional opinion as to whether the financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, and in accordance with the International Standard best practice in Cambodia.
  • The audit shall be carried out in accordance with the Cambodian International Standards on Auditing (CISAs). The auditors in their duties shall comply with the duties imposed upon them by the ACAR in Cambodia.
  • The Organisation financial reporting framework based on Cambodian International Financial Reporting Standards (CIFRS)
  • Management letter-The Auditors should submit a management letter after the completion of the audit.

Deliverable

Annual audit reports per along with management letters and management responses from WVI-C should be provided to WVI-C for both English and Khmer version as per agreed deadline. The audit firm shall make recommendations to address any weaknesses identified in the internal control areas mentioned above.

Time Schedule of Report

The assignment will commence on 01 February 2025 and the final report must be submitted by 30 June 2026

Eligibility

  • The selected audit firm is expected to meet the following minimum criteria:
  • Must be the certified and registered audit firm under the law of Cambodia.
  • Have a wide knowledge and experiences of policies and procedures covering, tax, accounting and financial management.
  • Must be the ACAR recommendation list.
