Announcement Description

CIA FIRST International School is currently accepting expressions of interest from established professional contracting firms in Phnom Penh. Our objective is to identify and appoint a select number of Designated Contractors who will serve as our primary partners for facility maintenance, renovation, and construction works across our campuses.

We are seeking long-term partners who are capable of delivering high-quality workmanship that aligns with international safety and aesthetic standards.

Summary

Selection Criteria

To be considered for the shortlist, contractors must demonstrate significant experience in sectors that demand high precision and operational care, specifically experiencing with the Schools, Hotels, and Hospitals.

We are strictly seeking contractors who can prove:

  • Credibility: Proof of valid business registration and necessary licenses to operate in Cambodia.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • A proven track record of professional work.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Timely project delivery.
  • High-quality workmanship.
  • Proper site management and cleanliness
  • Sector Experience: Verified portfolio of previous works completed in the K-12 school, hospitality, or healthcare sectors.
  • ESG Compliance (Preferred): Strong preference will be given to firms that adhere to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This includes
  • Environmental: Responsible waste disposal and use of eco-friendly materials.
  • Social: Strict adherence to labor laws (fair wages, no child labor), and high Worker Health & Safety standards.
  • Governance: Transparent billing and ethical business conduct.

Submission Requirements

Submission Requirements

Interested parties are requested to submit a proposal including the following:

  1. Company Profile: An overview of your firm, management structure, and years of operation in Phnom Penh.
  2. Portfolio of Works: Photographic evidence and descriptions of past projects, specifically highlighting work done in schools, hotels, or hospitals.
  3. ESG Commitment: A brief statement or evidence regarding your company's labor standards, safety policies, and waste management practices.
  4. References: Contact details for at least three (3) previous clients in the sectors mentioned above.
  5. Credentials: Copies of relevant patent taxes, business licenses, and insurance coverage.

Selection Process

  • Phase 1: CIA FIRST Management will review all submissions and shortlist the most qualified firms.
  • Phase 2: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or a site walkthrough.
  • Phase 3: Two or Three contractors will be selected as the official Designated Contractors for CIA FIRST Schools.
