Initially established in 1996 as a project of International HIV/AIDS Alliance, KHANA has started operating as an NGO in 1997 and was officially registered as a local NGO in 2000. Since then, it has been operating as a linking organization (LO) of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance which is now known as the Frontline AIDS. KHANA is one of the leading non-governmental organizations in Cambodia that has made critical contributions to the national HIV and TB responses and other health and development related services to key vulnerable and underserved populations in Cambodia. KHANA’s work has been made possible through financial supports from The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM), The L’Initiative, The Stop TB Partnership/UNOPS, Gavi, the US DOS/EpiC, and The Frontline AIDS.

Announcement Positions

Regional Field Coordinator– FC-SDS (4 Positions)

Position Summary

Location: Phnom Penh, and provincial level: Tboung Khmum, Battambang, and Kampong Thom

The postholder will coordinate and oversee end-to-end mobile TB ACF operations across the assigned province, ensuring effective field deployment, integrated TB screening and diagnosis, community mobilization, referral and linkage to care, quality implementation, and timely reporting

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee the implementation of mobile TB Active Case Finding (ACF) activities across the assigned province and target ODs.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of mobile ACF sessions in target health centres, villages, and other community-based locations, ensuring activities are implemented according to the approved workplan and timeline.
  • Coordinate with ODs, health centres, local authorities, village leaders, and community stakeholders to facilitate site selection, community mobilization, and smooth implementation of mobile ACF activities.
  • Coordinate the deployment of mobile ACF teams, including technical staff, CXR operators, and other relevant personnel, according to the requirements of each field session.
  • Coordinate the delivery of an integrated TB screening and diagnostic pathway, including TB symptom screening, chest X-ray, Xpert/molecular testing, and referral for further diagnostic assessment and treatment as appropriate.
  • Liaise with Field Officers to organize and monitor contact investigation (CI) activities and ensure timely identification, referral, and follow-up of individuals at risk of TB.
  • Coordinate transportation, equipment, CXR systems, diagnostic supplies, consumables, data-collection tools, and other logistical requirements needed for mobile ACF operations.
  • With with field officer to monitor the progress and performance of mobile ACF activities against agreed targets, including number screened, tested, diagnosed, referred, and linked to TB treatment or other appropriate care.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health/Management, or other related field
Work History:
  • Experience working on tuberculosis (TB), other health-related, or community-based projects for 5 years as a minimum
  • Project coordination and management for 5 years as a minimum
 
 

Regional Operation Support Assistant– FC-SDS (4 Positions)

Position Summary

Location: Phnom Penh, and provincial level: Tboung Khmum, Battambang, and Kampong Thom

The postholder will support the effective implementation of mobile TB ACF through hands-on field, operational, and technical support, including CXR operation, while assisting the Regional Field Coordinator in coordinating and monitoring field activities

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of mobile TB Active Case Finding (ACF) activities across the assigned region, in coordination with the Regional Field Coordinator and Field Officers.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and technical support to mobile ACF teams during community-based screening activities.
  • Support the preparation and setup of mobile ACF sites, including equipment, CXR systems, diagnostic materials, consumables, forms, and other required supplies.
  • Operate the CXR system/console during mobile ACF activities and support the appropriate and efficient use of CXR equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Provide basic technical troubleshooting and operational support during field activities and promptly escalate issues requiring specialized technical assistance.
  • Support Field Officers in conducting and monitoring contact investigation and follow-up
  • Support field-level budget tracking and expenditure documentation
  • Support the collection, compilation, and timely submission of mobile ACF activity data, field updates, and implementation reports
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or other related field
Work History:
  • Experience working on tuberculosis (TB), other health-related, or community-based projects for 1 year as a minimum
