Job Summary: The R&D Technician will support the processing plant department under the leadership of QA/QC manager. She or he will mainly be accountable for lab testing and research and development of new products and processes.
- Conduct new ingredient and products research.
- Develop new dairy product.
- Improve product quality and cost by modifying formulation of current product.
- Perform physical and chemical analysis on ingredient and/or products.
- Develop product, process and or packaging specifications for food products.
- Study methods to improve to improve quality of foods such as flavor, color, texture, nutritional value, or physical, chemical, and microbiological composition of foods.
- Test new products in lab and develop processing methods in the pilot plant.
- Conduct daily products testing including physical, chemical, and microbiological.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager in a reasonable framework.
- Graduated bachelor degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or other related fields.
- 1+ years of experiences in laboratory test and/or R&D, or fresh graduate with demonstrating strong background.
- Knowledge of 5S, food safety management system, GHP, HACCP, ISO22000, of FSSC22000 is a plus.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Ms. Office, and Mathematics skills is a plus.
- Good communication skills, and attention to details.
- Excellent organizational skills, and ability to make decision on quality issues.
- An enthusiastic person who works harmoniously with the team and other departments.
