General Role
The Quality Coordinator acts as the local representative of Créations Morin with its supplier located in Takeo Province, Cambodia.
The role involves serving as a central operational and technical liaison between the supplier and the internal team in Québec Canada, ensuring product quality, compliance with standards and work methods, conformity of deliverables, adherence to timelines, and smooth communication.
- Maintain a regular on-site presence at the supplier’s facility to monitor operations and production.
- Verify that products comply with quality requirements, technical specifications, and standards established by Créations Morin.
- Perform visual inspections, identify non-conformities, document deviations, and propose corrective actions or improvement initiatives.
- Act as the main point of contact between the supplier and the internal team in Québec (quality, production, design), ensuring regular and near-daily communication, Monday to Friday.
- Closely monitor production and delivery schedules, coordinate required adjustments, and proactively communicate any deviations or delays to the internal team.
- Clearly and structurally communicate expectations, priorities, required adjustments, and operational follow-ups.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of work methods and support the resolution of issues related to quality, efficiency, or understanding of standards.
- Support the understanding and application of procedures, work instructions, and quality criteria.
- Produce regular written follow-ups (emails, simple reports, tables, explanatory photos) for the internal team.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and long-term collaborative relationship with the supplier in an intercultural context.

- Bachelor's Degree in industry management and administration fields or equivalent
- At least experiences of the manufacturing environment, ideally in textiles or sewing (important asset) for 2 years
- Ability to understand and apply quality standards, technical specifications, and manufacturing methods.
- Strong observation skills, rigor, and attention to detail.
- Ability to explain technical requirements clearly, constructively, and respectfully.
- Comfort with technology and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, Word, and Teams), including the preparation of follow- ups, tables, and simple documents.
- Bilingualism in English and the local language (Khmer) is essential, both spoken and written, to ensure smooth communication with the supplier and the internal team in Québec.
- Strong English writing skills are required to produce clear, structured, and professional written follow-ups.
- Knowledge of French or Chinese are an asset.
- The position requires availability adapted to the time difference between Québec and Cambodia.
- The candidate must be available to participate in scheduled virtual meetings in the evening in Cambodia, typically corresponding to time slots between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. (Québec time) / 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (Cambodia time).
