Established and reputable German brand distributor in the field of hardware and furniture fittings is looking for suitable candidates as PURCHASING OFFICER.

We are looking for a high-performing Purchasing Officer to help us meet our customer and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.

Purchasing Officer

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Male or female age 25-35 years old.

Schedule - full-time : 8:00am- 17:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Import & Export coordinator (Forwarding company / Sea, Air, Cross border)
  • Follow up order confirmation and monitor shipment from supplier to ensure have enough stock for sell.
  • Negotiation with supplier to get best price and best payment term
  • Purchase and planning stock.
  • Contact with oversea supplier for order and product requirements.
  • Coordinate with sales, warehousing, Sales admin and other internal external departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage all operation logistics covering logistics, inventory and purchasing.
  • Others jobs assigned by Manager.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Management or related field (any field)
Work History:
  • Experiences in Import & Export and purchase (Must have) / Logistics / Warehouse for 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehousing, with minimum 1 years’ experience in a warehouse lead / supervisor role
  • Good command of English and computer literacy Ms Office
Soft Skills
  • Good interpersonal & good negotiation skills
  • Positive attitude and target oriented & good service mind
  • Good service mind and attitude.
  • Good at self-management and time management
  • Able to work both independently and as team
  • Strong sense of responsibility and willing to coordinate with other related functions to accomplish work or assignment
  • Good problem solving
  • Can work under pressure with positive attitude
