Purchasing Manager
Reporting Line: VP – Corporate Affairs
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations related to Goods and Services Purchasing, including daily activities, calls for tenders, negotiations, supplier qualification, supplier performance reviews, audits, visits, periodic evaluations etc.
- Ensure compliance with Company and Segment rules, policies and procedures. To that effect, update the related local procedures and referential as often as required.
- Monitor purchasing processes and contribute to their continuous improvement whenever possible.
- Monitor purchasing performances, provide regular report to Management.
- Monitor markets and trends in order to identify opportunities and threats.
- Coordinate with Regional and Central teams.
- Propose to the management, and upon validation implement, the purchasing strategy.
- Relationship with key suppliers.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and missions as and when required by Management.
- Contributes to:
- Identifying and managing risks.
- Trainings and presentations as they may occur.
- Projects as they may arise, as well as any other assignments/duties given by the Management.
- Bachelor degree in business administration or accounting, master’s degree is a plus
- At least 5-years’ experience in purchasing/procurement
- High level of integrity and honesty
- Very good communication and negotiation skills in Khmer and English
- Good interpersonal skills
