Project Coordinator - Financial Literacy
Type of Employment Contract : Fix-Term employment contract 01-year employment contract with subjective to be extended.
Reporting To Head of Financial Inclusion and Public Relations

Main Purpose
- To be a focal point person on Financial Literacy at the Association of Banks in Cambodia
- To lead the Financial Literacy projects of the Association of Banks in Cambodia
- To coordinate and support BFI to plan and execute the Financial Literacy Programs/Initiatives.
- To monitor the financial literacy initiative of Association and support BFIs to monitor of the FL’s initiatives.
Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the Head of Financial Inclusion and Public Relations, the Financial Literacy Manager will;
- Conducts a wide range of activities to support the Association's action plans to promote Financial Literacy among children, youths, SMEs, and the local community.
- He or she will also administer and assess the existing financial literacy program while ensuring that each initiative is in compliance with the National Financial Inclusion Strategy 2019-2025.
- To ensuring the effectively functioning of FI unit
- Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops communication strategies on the Financial Literacy Program for students, faculty, children, and the community.
- Planned and tailored financial literacy activities/ campaign can include appropriate communication and education elements that explain the products, processes, and benefits
- Standardization of using specific financial literacy programs and content delivery methods.
- Prioritizing for stakeholder’s specific outputs / linked with clear and actionable monitoring and evaluation mechanism
- Development of a digital financial literacy platform
- Targeted digital financial literacy training module as an activity under the roadmap for the financial deepening of the labor market
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Banking and Finance, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in Financial Literacy Instruction, education, management on the public’s awareness raising campaign
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Financial knowledge and decision-making skills,
- Capability to help people make informed financial decisions through problem-solving,
- Critical thinking, and
- Understanding of key financial facts and concepts.
- Knowledge of financial literacy; budgeting, saving, lending, problem-solving, and intervention strategies;
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable laws and regulations on Banking and Finance in Cambodia;
- Knowledge of the Digital Financial Literacy
- An ability to cooperate with fellow employees
- Flexibility to adapt to new situations
- Compassion toward student needs
