Compensation This is a full-time position offering an attractive and competitive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and successful execution of the feasibility study and implementation stage through the following four tasks.
- Task 1: Feasibility Study of the Fruit Industrial Park and Cold Chain facility service
- Coordinate key stakeholders, including the consulting firm and project partner, and manage a comprehensive project feasibility study. This includes precise assessments of market viability, infrastructure needs, environmental impact, and financial projections.
- Monitor, ensure quality, and provide critical inputs into the feasibility process.
- Establish and manage detailed project objectives, scope, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with KFP’s strategic goals.
- Task 2: Business Attraction & Operationalization
- Develop and execute a strategic, data-driven business attraction plan targeting anchor tenants in agro-processing, logistics, and cold chain services, upon the confirmation of feasibility is viable.
- Lead negotiations with prospective domestic and foreign investors, securing long-term tenant agreements.
- Facilitate seamless business setup and administrative processes for all incoming tenants.
- Establish efficient and sustainable operational procedures and management systems for the newly commissioned industrial park.
- Task 3: Project Management & Reporting
- Work closely with key stakeholders to manage the timely and act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, consultants, contractors, and potential tenants.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and progress reports with consultation with the management team.
- Fulfill other essential strategic and administrative tasks assigned by the management team.
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in project management, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Business Management, Entrepreneurship or a closely related field.
- Progressive experience in project coordination or managing large-scale, complex development projects, ideally within the special economic zone, industrial real estate, agro-industry, or logistics/cold chain sectors for 3 years as a minimum
- Proven track record of successfully overseeing projects from the feasibility stage through construction and operational handover.
- Demonstrated experience in contract management, tendering, budget control, and risk analysis.
- Proven experience in business development or investment promotion is highly advantageous.
- Strong background in the food processing industry, particularly with export-oriented companies.
- Skilled in coordinating with private sector stakeholders, government agencies, development partners and / or all levels of management.
- Knowledge and experience on financial analysis is a plus.
- Project Leadership: Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- Financial Acumen: Strong capability in reading, developing, and managing large project budgets and financial forecasts is an advantage.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage, negotiate with, and manage diverse stakeholders, including high-level government officials and senior investors.
- Communication: Fluent professional working proficiency in Khmer and English (both written and verbal) is essential for local stakeholder engagement and international business attraction.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to identifying and resolving complex technical, logistical, and commercial challenges.
