GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Project Assistant supports the Project Coordinator in the implementation of project activities, community engagement, and administrative tasks. The role focuses on assisting field operations, stakeholder coordination, data collection, and logistics to ensure smooth and effective project delivery. The Project Assistant will work closely with local communities, youth, women, and stakeholders to support activities related to eco-tourism, vocational training, and sustainable development initiatives in Run Ta Ek.
- Project Implementation Support
- Assist in organizing and facilitating project activities, workshops, and Community meetings, consultation and training.
- Support the implementation of activities related to eco-tourism, agroecology, and vocational training.
- Assist in mobilizing community members, especially youth and women, to participate in Project activities.
- Support the establishment and activities of the Community-Based Eco-Tourism Association (CBET).
- Assist in coordinating with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for field activities, including preparation of materials and documentation.
- Support field visits, data collection, and follow-up with beneficiaries to monitor activities progress.
- Assist in identifying challenges during implementation and report them to the PC with possible solutions.
- Community Engagement & Stakeholder Support
- Maintain regular and effective communication with community members and key local stakeholders.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an updated stakeholder and contacts database.
- Support coordination and collaboration with local authorities, partners, NGOs, and community groups.
- Facilitate clearly and timely communication between the project and beneficiaries.
- Support the dissemination of project information, updates, and key messages to relevant stakeholders.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with community members, especially youth and women.
- Support conflict resolution and address concerns raised by community members in a timely and respectful manner.
- Data Collection & Reporting
- Assist in collecting data through surveys, interviews, Focus Group Discussions, (FGD) and field visits.
- Support the accurate documentation of project activities, including attendance lists, photos, meeting minutes, and activity reports.
- Compile monthly activity reports, progress updates, and other required documentation.
- Ensure proper filing, organization, and record-keeping of both hard and soft project documents.
- Help ensure that all collected data is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in handling project data and beneficiary information.
- Assist in preparing summaries, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Logistics & Administrative Support
- Support logistical arrangement for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and other project events Assist in preparing and organizing materials, including printing, stationery, and training supplies.
- Support the coordination of transportation, accommodation (if required), and participant arrangements.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative support for field activities and project implementation.
- Assist in preparing activity schedules, agendas, and participant lists.
- Help track and manage the use of project materials and supplies.
- Maintain proper documentation of logistical and administrative records, including receipts and supporting documents.
- Provide general office support, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
- Assist the project team with other administrative tasks as assigned by line supervisor.
- Maintain working closely with the procurement coordinator related to stationary and logistics supply.
- Capacity Building Support
- Assist in organizing and facilitating training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building activities for youth and women and ensure inclusive participation, especially encouraging the involvement of youth, women, and vulnerable groups.
- Support participants during training sessions and follow-up activities to ensure effective learning and engagement.
- Monitor and track participation, attendance, and engagement of beneficiaries in all capacity-building activities.
- Follow up with participants after training to assess progress, challenges, and application of skills.
- Assist in collecting feedback from participants to improve the quality of training programs.
- Support mentoring, coaching, or peer-learning activities when applicable.
- Monitoring & Evaluation Support
- Support baseline, midline, and endline data collection activities in line with the project M&E framework.
- Provide accurate and timely field-level information to support monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Assist in collecting both quantitative and qualitative data, including beneficiary feedback and case studies.
- Support regular monitoring visits to project sites and follow up on implementation progress.
- Help identify challenges, gaps, and risks, and report them to the PC with suggested solutions.
- Assist in tracking project indicators and maintaining updated monitoring tools and databases.
- English - Basic
- Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, community development, agriculture, tourism, or a related field.
- At least of relevant experience in project support, community development, or working with NGOs for 1 to 2 years
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic English (both spoken and written).
- Basic computer skills words and excel.
- Knowledge of data collection, monitoring, and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with community mobilization and participatory approaches is an asset.
- Good organizational, coordination, and time management skills, with attention to details.
- Ability and willingness to work in the field and collaborate with diverse communities, including youth and women.
- Ability to work both independently and team work.

The Pastry & Bakery Instructor is responsible for the academic success of approximately 50 underprivileged women annually. The role focuses on delivering high-quality vocational training that complies with Ministry of Education and Labor standards for C1, C2, and C3 certification, while providing essential technical support to the school's social business production.
- Technical Instruction & Pedagogy (50%)
- Theory & Practice: Conduct both theoretical classroom lessons and practical lab sessions in pastry and bakery skills.
- Lesson Planning: Develop comprehensive lesson plans and training programs that align with the annual school calendar and certification requirements.
- Hygiene & Safety: Strictly implement and teach international food hygiene rules and laboratory safety protocols.
- Ministry Standards: Ensure all training activities and materials comply with national standards for C1, C2, and C3 certificate delivery.
- Certification & Academic Administration (30%)
- Student Records: Maintain detailed administrative files for each student, tracking individual learning abilities, attitudes, and attendance.
