The “Sustainable Freight Transport Logistics the Greater Mekong Subregion” aims increase sustainable freight transport logistics at least 500 small medium enterprises (SME) Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Vietnam (CLMV) Thailand. In order improve fuel efficiency thus environmental footprint freight transport in region, project works local companies, freight associations, banks the national governments actions like eco-driving, better maintenance, adoption fuel-saving technologies, enhanced access finance truck upgrades, green freight labelling national action plans. A second field action the safe transport dangerous goods, where project also aims build capacity local companies improve legal framework.
Assistant, Other, Communications
Location: Phnom Penh
Daily operational administrative affairs, i.e. liaising GIZ Office, counterparts, other stakeholders; communications, travel management, management enquiries scheduling meetings, etc.
Preparing meetings, seminars workshops documenting results well arranging workshop equipment material
Providing administrative to project, especially translations Thai into English vice versa
Drafting official letters counterparts other stakeholders upon request the Project Director
Bachelor degree relevant field work related studies
At least 2 of working experience a similar position
Ability communicate and easily both international national colleagues
Good knowledge modern telecommunication systems (telephone, fax, e-mail, internet its software)
Excellent command Thai English writing speaking; knowledge German an advantage
