The Cambodian Disabled People’s Organisation (CDPO) was established in 1994 as a movement of Cambodians with disability. CDPO is a membership based, non-government organisation, representing persons with disabilities in Cambodia. We are working towards becoming “The voice of persons with disabilities in Cambodia”. CDPO is now looking for qualified person for fulfils a position below:

Project Assistant

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Base in: Phnom Penh and Province

Contract duration: 18 Months

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Project Support and Implementation
  • Assist in training, workshops, and project activities
  • Support the Project Officer in implementation and logistics
  • Coordinate with procurement for event materials and logistics
  • Monitor project implementation and budgets of OPDs (Organizations of Persons with Disabilities)
  • Maintain financial records and assist with procurement
  • Develop IEC materials and support data collection for research
  • Prepare reports, minutes, and manage event calendars
  • Attend meetings and team-building activities
  • HR Management
  • Practice self-mediation, conflict resolution, and self-assessment
  • Self-motivate and monitor personal performance
  • Budgeting
  • Assist to develop plan with OPDs
  • Prepare the advance request for the project activities
  • Prepare the settlement for each training and workshop
  • Other tasks as required
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Work History:
  • Relevant work experience for 1 year as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Understanding of disability rights
  • Experience in event assistance
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication, networking, and teamwork skills
  • Flexible to work in provinces
