Project Assistant

Location: based in Veal Veng District, Pursat Province
- Assist the Senior Program Coordinator (SPC) in implementing the Project in Pursat Province.
- Support the development and preparation of workplans, budget requests, and concept notes (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) in coordination with the SPC to ensure timely implementation of field project activities.
- Work closely with the SPC to prepare monthly reports, quarterly reports, semi result-based reports, annual narrative reports, case studies, success stories, and data collection for timely submission to donors.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with Commune Accountability Facilitators (CAF), local authorities, relevant technical department officers from Environment, Agriculture, and Tourism sectors, targeted communities, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate and coordinate the organization of all field project activities, budget clearances, and reporting requirements in a timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with targeted communities to ensure smooth implementation of project activities, achievement of project objectives, fulfillment of donor expectations, and contribution to community development in line with the approved plan.
- Follow up and monitor project activities with direct and indirect stakeholders to ensure the project achieves its intended goals and outcomes.
- Undertake additional related duties as assigned by the SPC and Executive Director (ED).

- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in project implementation and community development projects, especially Community Protected Areas for 1 to 2 years
- Experience in preparing workplans, reports, budget requests, and supporting field activities.
- Knowledge of project planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), reporting, and basic budget support.
- Experience in data collection, case studies, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Khmer, basic English, MS Office, and digital tools.
- Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills with communities, local authorities, and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel within project areas and work under pressure.
