Position Summary

The position is for Computer Lab Programme

Starting date of position – as soon as possible

Together as a team, we at Child’s Dream are here to empower people in the Mekong Sub-Region. We do this by working in partnerships with communities to improve the health and education of their children, youth and young adults for sustainable development.

Our team needs your support in managing and strengthening the implementation of the Computer Lab Programme in Cambodia. Reporting to the Head - Programme, you will lead the full project management cycle, including project identification, initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and closure. As the primary point of contact for teachers, students, contractors, and local communities, you will build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to focal persons responsible for operating computer labs in targeted schools. You will also contribute to the management of other programmes and projects, as required, when capacity allows, ensuring effective delivery in line with organisational priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Computer Lab Programme in Cambodia, from needs assessment and planning through to implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Conduct school assessments and engage with teachers, communities, and other stakeholders to identify needs and ensure programme suitability and sustainability.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, procurement schedules, and implementation timelines to ensure successful delivery of computer lab projects.
  • Coordinate the procurement, installation, and quality assurance of ICT equipment, infrastructure, and software in line with organisational policies.
  • Build the capacity of ICT teachers and school computer lab committees through training, mentoring, and ongoing technical support.
  • Monitor programme performance, evaluate impact, and work with schools and communities to develop sustainable exit strategies and long-term ownership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners while providing additional programme support to the Cambodia Country Office as required.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Science, Education, Statistics, or equivalent education
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Minimum 4-5 years of project management experience and/or M&E experience in an NGO or similar field
  • A strong interest in working for an NGO to improve quality leader and specialist in Cambodia.
  • Solid IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, E-mail)
  • Knowledge of programme cycle management and budgeting.
  • Program management skill, Logframe, M&E Framework
  • Ability to collect, analyse and produce good quality data and information
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient Khmer and intermediate English skills
  • Demonstrate and uphold all Child’s Dream values, consistently applying the required behaviours in day-to-day work, interactions, and decision-making.
  • Ability to travel to the field regularly (40% of the working time).
  • A valid Driver’s license.

Partnership Coordinator

Position Summary

Our team needs your support in managing and strengthening the implementation of the Partnership Programme in Cambodia. Reporting to the Head - Partnership, you will lead the full partnership management cycle, including partner identification, assessment, agreement development, capacity strengthening, monitoring, and performance review. The Partnership Coordinator ensures effective communication, compliance with organisational and Child’s Dream requirements, and fosters collaborative relationships that enhance program quality, sustainability, and impact. You will also contribute to the management of other programmes and projects, as required, when capacity allows, ensuring effective delivery in line with organisational priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Identify, initiate, and evaluate new partnership programmes, including preparing and presenting proposals to the Project Evaluation Committee.
  • Manage partnership programmes throughout the full programme cycle, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of partners' activities, outputs, and outcomes.
  • Review partners' narrative and financial reports and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Maintain and update the partnership programme database and prepare regular reports for submission to the Head of Partnerships.
  • Conduct regular field visits to monitor programme implementation, address challenges, and strengthen partner relationships, with fieldwork accounting for approximately 50% of working time.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government, partners, and key stakeholders, representing the organization in relevant external networks and forums.
  • Develop and implement exit strategies for partners to ensure sustainable programme completion and effective transition.

  • Ability to collect, analyse and produce good-quality data, information and reports
  • A valid Driver’s license.
  • Proficient Khmer and intermediate English skills
