Program Officer
The position for Dr LEE Jong-wook fellowship and MNCH program
Duty hours: 8:00 AM-17:00 PM (Mon-Fri)
Duty location: KOFIH Cambodia office in Battambang province (Employee may work any place within the project area under the instruction of the employer)
KOFIH runs public health operations with substantial amount of financial resources to effectively implement its collaborative program with the Cambodian Government. In order to successfully carry out our due mission, KOFIH is seeking one qualified Cambodian-national candidate to join in our office for the position of a Program Officer for LJW fellowship and MNCH Program.
* LJW fellowship is global invitational training program named after Dr LEE Jong-wook, who was the 6th Director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO). The program consists of diverse courses such as clinical experts, health professional education, health policy and administration, disease research specialist, etc. After training, the trainee would work as KOFIH Global Alumni (KGA) in their own country to share knowledge and experience.
KEY WORDS that KOFIH expects for its candidate are; with health background, English communicable, and capability of document work (e.g. newsletter, budgeting, planning, minute, etc.). More detailed work scope is below;
- Work scope:
- Arrange meeting and preparing activities of Dr. Lee Jong-Wook fellowship
- Perform monitoring and submit reports of KGA activities and MNCH program
- Carry out administrative and secretarial duties such as speech writing, preparing document, receiving visitors from local & international healthcare partners etc.
- Enhance public relations through social media, newsletter, promotion for KOFIH activities
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by employer.
- Cambodian National, residency in Battambang province is preferred.
- Bachelor degree in medicine or any related to health field, MPH is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in public or private health service (i.e. nurse, midwife, health center staff, etc)
- Excellent communication and writing skill in English and Khmer, and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong report writing and data collection skills, as well as interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office.
