Cooperation For Alleviation of Poverty Organization (COFAP) is a non-government organization that registered with ministry of interior on 04th July 2002. COFAP works to overcome poverty and suffering of the poor communities. It is a nonpartisan, non-profit Cambodian organization, with no political party affiliation. The organization focuses its works on the development of Cambodia for the benefits of the poor community through organizing the people; development works to upgrade living conditions of the poor, promotion of rights-based approach development democracy among local people in Cambodia. In the year 2025, COFAP will continue project of Women Led-Alternative to Climate Change (ANCP WLACC) in Cambodia phase II that received fund from Australian NGO Cooperation Program through ActionAid Cambodia from July, 2025 to June, 2028. This project implement at 5 communes in Kampong Svay District, Stoeng Sen City and Stung District. COFAP need recruitment of one staff as below:

Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate with women champion network for implementing of the project
  • Facilitate the community especially women champion network on community development activities and encourage them to participant in this approach.
  • Promote and introduce the guideline of the organization’s development process to the community.
  • Collect and Save all data relevant to project
  • Facilitate with local authorities and stakeholders for selecting women champion network in the commune.
  • Organize the meeting/training/workshop to women champion and stakeholders
  • Regular coaching to women champion network
  • Regular monitor and evaluation with women champion network
  • Facilitate with the development partners, NGOs, Local authorities working in the village.
  • Prepare monthly, Quarterly, yearly and writing progress report and case study to program coordinator and donor
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or relevant
Experience:
  • At least experience​ with disaster rise reduction/climate change for 3 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Must understand and agree with COFAP’s vision, mission and core values.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and in Khmer language.
  • Computer literate; Microsoft Word, Excel, power point, internet and zoom meeting
Soft Skills
  • Willingness to traveling to the community
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight at project sites and remote areas.
  • Willingness to work with community poor, specially woman and children
  • Non-discrimination judgment behavior
