Production & Business Assistant

Position Summary

Contract: Fixed Duration Contract (Full-time)

Benefits: Travel allowance, communication allowance, NSSF, Bonus.

The Production & Business Assistant supports the day-to-day production flows of Nomi Network’s handmade merchandise. He/she assists the Production and Business (P&B) Coordinator/Manager in building customer relations and acts as the middleman between customers and stakeholders. He/she is in charge of general and pop-up sales, stock and inventory management of Nomi Network’s products.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Production:
  • Support P&B Coordinator/Manager sourcing raw materials locally and regionally to supply for the production;
  • Support P&B Coordinator/Manager coordinating the production samples while ensuring all samples are reviewed prior to approval and making amendments if required;
  • Support P&B Coordinator/Manager following up on production, conducts quality control, attending production-related meetings, and provides feedback to customer/stakeholders;
  • Coordinate the production process by visiting the supplier/stakeholder and providing needed support;
  • Coordinate with supplier/stakeholder to ensure production is completed on time and quality meets the standard;
  • Coordinate product shipments according to the customers' request;
  • Communicate with the customers to ensure all samples and products are delivered on time;
  • Support the P&B Coordinator/Manager in organizing basic sewing training for Foundation Training Program (FTP) trainers and ensure they have acquired all the necessary skills to train the students and create training videos for the participants.
  • Support the P&B Coordinator/Manager to provide training to Workforce Development Program (WFD) Program clients on quality assurance of the products.
  • Sale & Customer Relationships:
  • Support the P&B Coordinator/Manager in maintaining strong production partnerships and seeking out potential production partners.
  • Prepare, review, and present products to customers.
  • Support the P&B Coordinator/Manager to ensure the business plan is successfully implemented with low risks and meets customer satisfaction while adhering to the marketing strategies by reaching sales target.
  • Support the P&B Coordinator/Manager to develop a customer acquisition strategy to gain more customers and boost sales.
  • Ensure effective customer relationships by timing responses to customers’ inquiries and providing after-sale support
  • Follow up with customers and monitor competitive schemes for each project study
  • Support the P&B Coordinator/Manager in the recruitment of event organizers to ensure that the event runs smoothly and effectively as planned.
  • Stock and Inventory Management:
  • Organize, under the supervision of the P&B Coordinator/Manager, quarterly in-house sales events including but not limited to packaging the products, displaying, stock preparation, and acting as the first point in the event.
  • Manage and organize the showroom and stockroom.
  • Monitor and update all production stock and sample logs, and accurately encode them on the inventory system.
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • A fresh graduate in merchandising, business management, fashion, or any related field,
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales or marketing is ideal,
  • At least 1 year of experience in building customer relationships,
  • Proven effective communication and liaison skills
  • Proficient in Khmer and English (writing, listening, and speaking).
  • Proficient in M.S Office, Internet & Email, and Social Media management with basic graphic design knowledge is a plus.
