About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective, and student-centred Primary School Teacher to join
our international school community in Cambodia. The successful candidate will deliver a high- quality, engaging, and inclusive learning program aligned with an integrated curriculum framework, with preference given to candidates experienced in the Australian education system.
This role requires a passionate educator committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, while supporting the academic and personal development of every child.
- Teaching & Learning
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons aligned with an integrated curriculum approach.
- Implement curriculum frameworks,
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Use formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Curriculum & Planning
- Contribute to the development and refinement of an internationally aligned curriculum adapted to the Cambodian context.
- Integrate cross-disciplinary learning experiences that promote inquiry and real-world connections.
- Collaborate with colleagues on planning, moderation, and curriculum development.
- Student Development
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students.
- Foster independence, resilience, and a growth mindset.
- Maintain high expectations for student achievement and conduct.
- Assessment & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare reports in line with school and accreditation requirements.
- Community Engagement
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in education (Primary) or equivalent
- Minimum of teaching experience for 2 years is preferred
- Valid teaching qualification and registration (or eligibility)
- Experience teaching an integrated or inquiry-based curriculum (highly desirable)
- International school experience (advantageous)
- Strong pedagogical knowledge and classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate and personalise learning.
- High level of proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to teach, assess, and communicate effectively in English across all areas of responsibility.
