Where you will work
This is a full-time post based in Siem Reap, with travel to schools in the province.
As a start, you will help design the course and its materials. In a second phase, you will pilot it with a group of around 20 primary teachers and coach them in their own classrooms. Throughout, your work will shape the programme before any wider rollout.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design of the course, the training materials and the assessment tools.
- Deliver weekly workshops to primary teachers.
- Observe and coach teachers in their classrooms.
- Keep records of participants' progress and report on the programme.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- Khmer - Fluent
- English - Good
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, education or a related field
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Experience teaching mathematics in primary school, and experience training or coaching teachers.
- Good knowledge of the Cambodian primary mathematics curriculum.
- Fluent in Khmer and a working knowledge of English.
- Willing to travel to schools in Siem Reap province.
- Experience with the Early Grade Mathematics package or the VVOB mathematics materials is an asset.
- Demonstrates an entrepreneurial mindset, takes initiative, and is willing to experiment, embrace new ideas and explore uncharted territory.
