Primary Khmer language Teacher

The Khmer Language Teacher will be responsible for delivering full-time, high-quality Khmer language and cultural teaching. The teacher works for the primary teaching levels. The focus of this instruction will be balanced the 4 components of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, writing. They will plan lessons and work collaboratively with the Khmer Language Team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teachers at AUPP are expected to work collaboratively in order to provide a positive educational experience for its students
- Teach Khmer Language classes as per schedule provided
- Plan and design languages learning activities that incorporate a range of instructional strategies and include the appropriate use of the digital technology
- Join Khmer language Team meetings and other staff meetings
- Participating in Professional Development activities
- Perform other task as assigned by Principal / Head of School Requirements:
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- Khmer - Fluent is required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Khmer Language and literature
Work History:
- Teaching experience for 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Be a native Khmer Speaker (mandatory)
- Teaching license is preferred
- Experience working in an international context or culturally diverse setting is an asset
- Understand inquiry based and or play based teaching and learning practice, or has keen interest in developing related knowledge or skills
