Preschool Teacher

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Attend to infants’ basic needs, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and diaper changing.
- Plan and organise activities that provide meaningful learning experiences such as reading, singing, and interactive play.
- Observe and evaluate infants’ behaviour, development, and physical well-being, and document their progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Comfort and support children when needed.
- Assist children with personal care and daily routines, including toileting and changing clothes or diapers.
- Support children in basic tasks such as cutting, pasting, drawing, and writing.
- Assist teachers in supervising children in classrooms, halls, playgrounds, during meals, and on field trips.
- Monitor children in the use of learning materials and equipment to prevent injuries or damage.
- Assist with the preparation and clearing of learning activities, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised classroom and centre environment.
- Perform basic cleaning duties such as disinfecting toys, cleaning equipment, and tidying up after meals or activities.
- Assist with bus loading and unloading when required.
- Participate in centre events, marketing, and enrolment activities when needed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents.
- Follow centre policies and be familiar with emergency procedures.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and safety are maintained at all times.
- Progression for Employment in Singapore.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- English - Good
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Good command of English
- Ability to understand Chinese will be an advantage
