Reigate Grammar School Phnom Penh is seeking a warm, reflective, and passionate Pre-Nursery Teacher to join our growing Early Years team. This is a unique opportunity to play a foundational role in the lives of our youngest learners during a formative time in their development.

- Teaching & Learning
- Deliver a high-quality Early Years curriculum that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Plan, assess, and differentiate learning experiences to meet the needs of individual children.
- Maintain a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that reflects children's interests and achievements.
- Monitor and document children's progress in line with the EYFS Framework and school assessment policies.
- Provide timely, purposeful feedback to children and contribute to reporting cycles for parents.
- Foster positive behaviour and relationships built on mutual respect, trust, and consistency.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist staff to enhance provision.
- Pastoral Care
- Prioritise child safeguarding and wellbeing in line with RGSPP’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies.
- Develop nurturing relationships with children and provide consistent emotional support.
- Serve as a class teacher and primary point of contact for families in your care.
- Administrative Duties
- Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, including registers, pupil observations, reports, and parent communication logs.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with parents, maintaining a warm and informative tone.
- Wider Professional Responsibilities
- Support the continual development of EYFS policies, planning formats, and classroom systems.
- Attend and contribute to school events, including Parent Meetings, assemblies, and performances.
- Participate in staff meetings, year group planning, and whole-school events as required.
- Take part in co-curricular life including after-school clubs, events, and celebrations.
- Supervise children in accordance with the duty rota (playground, lunch, arrival/dismissal).
- Maintain a tidy and well-organised classroom and shared learning areas.
- Support with school trips and special events, occasionally outside of normal hours.
- Carry out any reasonable request made by the Head of Early Years or SLT, consistent with your professional role.
