Business Intelligent Unit Manager (1 Position)

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Business Intelligence strategies and solutions to be aligned with company’s goals.
  • Oversee the design and maintenance of data warehousing systems.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Credit, Digital Development, Business, Digital Banking, and Deposit to identify and track key business metrics.
  • Design, build, and manage data visualization dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Stay informed about trends and technological advancements in the banking and finance industry.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes and systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality and data analytics processes.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure proper integration of BI systems.
  • Manage the integration of various data into the BI platform.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights.
  • Present insights and reports to management and leadership teams, helping them make data-driven decisions.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests
  • Provide training to end-users on BI tools and data interpretation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven technical skills (e.g., SQL, Python, data visualization, etc.).
  • Preferred certifications is a plus point (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
  • Preferred soft skills such as adaptability or strategic thinking is a plus point.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics with microfinances or banks.
  • Well-rounded understanding about microfinance and banking operations.
  • Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and innovation.
 
 

Regional Manager (1 Position)

Position Summary

The position is for Siem Reap Region

Location: Head Office

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Ensure Disbursements by products/Portfolio/# of clients/Net Profit/PAR/ Asset backed product/Productivity per CO/write off collection/key ratios achieved as per BP.
  • Monitor and verify the list of potential customers from each branches and strategizing with Deposit Department to mobilize the deposit balance.
  • Ensure that digital products have been in sales well.
  • Ensure the good repayment rate of loans.
  • Follow up all product performance of each branch to make sure it is growing as the set plan.
  • Initiating/ guiding business strategies to branches under his supervision to achieve higher results.
  • Build relationship/partnership with Merchants, authorities, and other parties to improve the business’s opportunities.
  • Survey competitor products and services; and find strategies to deal with them.
  • Identify the barriers and reason why each product cannot be performed better than its actual performance.
  • Regularly visit branches under supervision to identify the weaknesses, improve the weaknesses and strongly support them.
  • Report to management all the issues related to business operation in the areas.
  • Conduct regular meetings with branches to review their performance and take corrective actions.
  • Conduct market spot check to ensure that each branch can maintain good relationship with merchants, appropriate branding display at merchant shop and good customer service management.
  • Identify potential market and/or customer segment and advise to management for finding strategy to grab the market opportunities.
  • Strengthening the staff capacity on internal control.
  • Strengthen branches to strictly follow credit policies and procedures.
  • Review staffing plan and encourage branches to closely cooperate with HR in staff recruitment.
  • Perform other tasks which assigned by Head of Business Department.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • BA/MBA in Marketing, Finance and Banking, Management or equivalence.
  • Minimum of 05-year field experiences a branch manager.
  • Understanding how to use financial and operational tools such as Field Visit Report (FVR), Loan Provision Report, Monthly Operation performance in making decisions is highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of local and international laws and regulations - banking and finance, obligation and contracts, etc.
  • Knowledge of administrative and accounting procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and record, designing forms, and other office procedure and terminology.
  • Good commitment and hard-working.
 
 

Senior Research Officer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular institutional market survey including customer satisfaction, and customer dropout survey.
  • Conduct market demand survey to keep track of the market trends on financial products.
  • Conduct marketing research studies and analyze findings.
  • Conduct feasibility studies on new products and services opportunities.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation on financial services and related projects.
  • Conduct microfinance environmental analysis and competition analysis.
  • Develop research proposal.
  • Write research reports focus mainly on finding and present result to the management.
  • Assist management in develop and update market research manual.
  • Assist in business analysis by using Power BI tool.
  • Plan and implement market research and customer surveys to assess and evaluate demand, brand positioning and awareness of LOLC financial products and services.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management, Social Science or equivalent.
  • 02 year-experiences in research (field research, data collection, analysis), preferably with financial industry.
  • Interviewing skills and capacity to carry out research.
  • High motivation, initiative, willing, and able to travel to field.
  • Good problem solving and analysis skills.
  • Good computer literacy (Ms. Office, SPSS, Power BI, Google Form, Microsoft Form, and relevant applications)
  • Good command in English is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Hard-working and able to work under pressure.
 
 

Internal Auditor (1 Position)

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Perform regular branches and head office audit.
  • Prepare audit report indicating the findings and recommendations for supervisor’s review.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control system, risk impact and recommend improvement.
  • Conduct compliance check to ensure internal policies and law and regulation are fully complied.
  • Ensure accurate and sufficient documentation exists for supervisor review.
  • Perform preliminary data analysis and provide ideas on the result of the data analysis.
  • Conduct audit follow up.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed within budgeted time for every audit.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by manager.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and related field is required.
  • At least 1 year of audit experience or 2 years work MFIs/bank experience is priority.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Word, MS excel and power point.
  • Understanding of accounting and MFIs/Bank operation.
  • High level of written and oral communication skill.
  • Honesty, accountability hard working and commitment.
  • Ability to work independently, safeguard confidential information and great attention to detail to meet the deadline.
  • Creative skill, strong problem solving and sound judgment and good decision making.

Data Engineer (1 Position)

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Build scalable data architectures for real-time and batch processing.
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues in data workflows.
  • Implement data governance and security best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Integrate data from various sources including APIs, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
  • Work with stakeholders including management, Product committee, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
 
 

HR Intern-Recruitment (1 Position)

Digital Banking Development Intern (1 Position)

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Assist to conduct survey and desk research on competitor’s products and services.
  • Assist to conduct the UAT on digital products/services.
  • Call to Interview merchant after registering by branches.
  • Review iPay registration information submitted by iPay users.
  • Review Digital Saving account opening through iPay users.
  • Daily operational support such as on iPay issue, Merchant issue, KHQR Code printing issue, ATM issue, …, etc.
  • Verify all the ATM Card application form submitted by branches.
  • Package PIN mailer and delivery to branches.
  • Follow up branch to make sure that the card and PIN mailer have been received.
  • Responsible on departmental admin tasks such as stock control, filing document, …, etc.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by managers.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Banking, Economics or related fields or fresh graduate or bachelor’s degree candidates.
  • Knowledge in digital products/services.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
