Wildlife Works is a community-centered conservation company that implements market-based initiatives to safeguard nature and people. Our conservation projects bring direct financing to forest communities to fund their own economic development while preventing the destruction of local forests through carbon financing. Wildlife Works Cambodia is now expanding its projects in Cambodia.

We’re looking to recruit 4 Cambodian Officers base in Tole Sap REDD+ project.

This is a one-year contract with the possibility of renewal.

Location: Tole Sap ( Battambang- Kampongthom- Pursat)

Role Overview

The officers will play a key role in planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating project activities. The position involves working closely with local communities, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the success of its initiatives.

The officers are expected to:

  1. Collect and manage data in target zones with multiple and diverse stakeholders in all development sectors, such as health, education, livelihood, food security, environment, and business.
  2. Write reports.
  3. Deliver workshops to all relevant stakeholders.
  4. Coordinate between project team members and all relevant stakeholders.
  5. Work closely with Country and Deputy Country Directors.
Requirements
  • The officers must have the following skills:
  • 5 (+) years of field experience working with rural communities in development.
  • Public speaking - experience in communicating and engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders and proven ability to build inclusive partnerships.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
  • Strong self-management.
  • Good computer skills, including competent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Driver’s license.
