UWS is an award-winning global organization bringing community-centric education models to the world's most remote populations. UWS was founded in Cambodia in 2008 and currently operates 96s schools across seven provinces, Rattanakiri, Steung Treng, Kratie, Mondulkiri, Koh Kong, Oddar Meanchey, and Preah Vihear. UWS Cambodia contributes to strengthening primary education systems through working with national and local governments to improve quality and inclusive primary education and facilities for children in remote areas. To date, UWS has reached over 11,000 students, built capacity in 136 primary schools, and 40 schools were completed transitioned to national education systems.

Role Purpose / Summary
Education Program Manager (EPC) requires a dynamic person who can motivates national and sub-national government and NGOs partners, stakeholders to develop strategic partners and collective effort for program interventions at scale. This position requires someone with well-developed advisory, facilitation, coaching, documentation and critical thinking skills who can collaborate and work with a diverse range of people, particularly sub-national government and school level.
The Education Program Manager is one the USW Cambodia’s program management team member, he/she will lead UWS Cambodia’s education program toward achieving Zero Education Poverty. He/she will actively engage in policy and strategy discussions at the national/regional level to enhance the enabling environment, leading to strengthen primary education for rural remote children in Cambodia.
Program Manager leads the Education team culture of adaptive management and learning and raises the profile and UWS Cambodia’s program model as one leading primary education in Cambodia.
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, EPC will responsible and accountable for the overall management and planning of programs’ implementation of education programs, engage with fund-raising and partnership development management including program budget and team leadership.
He/she will oversee and provide technical management support to at least two program coordinators on program implementation including developing project plans and ensure quality of program implementation and key performance indicators are achieved as set in annual target.
In addition, the EPM will work closely with the funding raising team and relevant team members to develop program planning and budget as required by donors.
