We are currently seeking an experienced BUTLER to join our dynamic crew onboard the Scenic Spirit. This is a full-time position requiring work and residence on either ship along the Mekong River. The role involves being part of a rotational leave schedule.

- The employee's standard working hours will be determined by the roster set by the Head of Department and approved by HR. This schedule operates on the basis of a rotation of seven (7) weeks onboard the ship, followed by one (1) week off the ship, which becomes applicable after completing the probationary period.
- Providing personalized and attentive service to VIP guests in suits or higher-end staterooms.
- Unpacking or packing guest luggage, setting up room, and ensuring guests have a comfortable and luxurious experience throughout the journey.
- Serving in-suit meals or beverages upon request.
- Coordinating dining experiences, including private dining on balconies, or special occasions.
- Assisting guests in booking and preparing for shore excursions, providing recommendations, and helping with any special requirements.
- Acting as personal concierge, making reservations, arranging transportation, or securing special experiences at various ports of call.
- Managing specific guest requests such as dietary needs, event planning, and spa booking.
- Overseeing room cleanliness and ensuring rooms are always in immaculate condition.
- Offering top-level service such as priority boarding and disembarkation, welcome drinks, and managing and special travel arrangements.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality with guest preferences and interactions, ensuring that VIP guests receive high-end, personalized service without intrusion.
- Keeping guests informed of daily activities, ship events, and other relevant information while providing a seamless communication channel between the guest and ship’s services.
- Experience as a butler in a cruise ship environment, or in a five-star hotel.
- Background in hospitality, particularly in five-star service or high-end cruise service.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a confined living environment.
- Fluency in spoken English is essential, with good written English skills. English must be always spoken while on duty.
- Keen eye for details and high standards in maintaining luxury accommodations and guest preferences.
- Capable in handling multiple tasks in a confined environment.
