POSITION OVERVIEW

The Customer Service Manager (CSM) plays a critical role in maintaining high-quality service and communication standards at the Cambridge International School. This individual ensures smooth communication between parents, students, and staff while promoting a welcoming environment that upholds the school’s values and mission. The CSM is responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and fostering strong relationships with the school community.

Duties
  • CUSTOMER SUPPORT
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, students, and visitors, ensuring prompt and professional responses to inquiries.
  • Manage and resolve complaints effectively, escalating issues to the appropriate department or leadership team when necessary.
  • Ensure all communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions, are handled with professionalism and efficiency.
  • COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT
  • Coordinate and oversee communication between the school and parents, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Manage newsletters, updates, and notices to inform the school community about events, policies, and other important matters.
  • Develop and maintain FAQs or resources to address common concerns.
  • OPERATION EFFICIENCY
  • Supervise the front office team to ensure seamless daily operations and a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and resolutions, using CRM systems or similar tools.
  • Coordinate parent-teacher conferences, open house events, and other school-related activities.
  • PARENT AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
  • Foster a positive relationship with parents and other stakeholders by organizing engagement events and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to assist prospective families, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Monitor and analyze feedback to recommend improvements to customer service processes and school policies.
  • TEAM LEADERSHIP
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the customer service team to meet high performance and service standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to address concerns, share updates, and strategize improvements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or administrative management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Cambridge International School curriculum and policies (preferred).

POSITION SUMMARY

The Academic Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily class operation, communication with parents, incident and accident reports.

Duties
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Creates and monitor the attendance;
  • Calls to parents for student lateness and absent and school events;
  • Informs to parents about student’s incident and accident;
  • Monitors student’s safety and hygiene;
  • Does weekly and monthly report to School Principal;
  • Inducts new teacher assistants into the School Programme Process;
  • Works closely with the Leadership Team and teachers to ensure continuous improvement of the program quality;
  • Collaborates with Marketing and other departments to promote the school's learning programs;
  • Manages class schedule and attendance, including creating new and editing, assigned by Programme Coordinator;
  • Works closely with the Front Desk for parent complaint, advice and suggestions;
  • Assists in implementing student orientation and registration activities;
  • Acts to upgrade own professional knowledge and skills;
  • Assists to define and disseminate information about school disciplinary policies and procedures to parents, students and academic staff;
  • Assists in supervising and maintaining auxiliary services and use community resources to supplement the school program;

  • Assists in completion of records and weekly reports and in the supervision and inventory of necessary supplies, textbooks, equipment and materials of Early Year Program;

Requirements
  • Education Background
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Education and Management;
  • Work Experience
  • Minimum of two-year experience in teaching;
  • Minimum of one-year experience in Academic Administration preferred;
  • Computer knowledge (Ms. Office, internet & email, & Ms. Project);
  • Language
  • Good English Proficiency;

POSITION SUMMARY

A teacher is an individual who teaches, guides and supports the students in an appropriate manner that improves the overall quality of education in the classroom and school.

Duties
  • Responsible for ensuring that classroom and curriculum meet FHIS pedagogy/standards
  • Adhere to the Ethical teaching practices, protocols and policies set by FHIS.
  • Evaluate and maintain complete and accurate files regarding the students’ academic progress and physical, social and emotional growth, and communicate with parents on the students’ progress.
  • Work closely with Coordinator in evaluating student’s performance and achievements regularly.
  • Respect the confidentiality of student information and records of the students and school.
  • Prepare a weekly lesson plan outlining what will covered in class.
  • Complete the report card for each student for every term and fill in the comments for communication books when necessary.
  • Identify the needs of students, and provide continuous assessment of their ability and differentiated instruction to meet individual needs.
  • Provide effective instruction, organization and management in the classroom, which creates a respectful environment conducive to learning.
  • Supervise students in the classroom respectfully and positively.
  • Attend in-services training activities and/or self-selected professional growth activities as requested by school management.
  • Contribute to initiating, planning and participating in parent conferences and other FHIS events
  • Fulfill other reasonable duties requested by the school management.
  • Be on time and actively participate in all required meetings/ training.
