About Education Assistant

The School Operations Officer (SOO) is the operations leader for a school, managing all non-instructional functions, services, and staff so that the instructional team can maintain a concentrated focus on teaching and student achievement and maximize instructional time. This role is to ensures the school is managed with operational excellence and fiscal prudence by creating, refining, and implementing policies and systems while upholding the values. This role works closely with School Operations Coordinator to develop a school-wide culture of respect and achievement and a team culture grounded in common goals, mutual respect, empathy towards others, and an appreciation of diversity. The SOO is a next-generation educator who is a critical thinker and innovative problem solver with a high level of emotional intelligence.

Report to: School Operations Coordinator

Manage: Teachers, Janitorial staff

Key liaison: Education Management Team(EMT), Facility Management Team

Duties
  • Implement adequate transportation, safety, school events, procurement, and compliance systems.
  • Ensure all non-teaching operations run smoothly.
  • Keep accurate student records in the database.
  • Monitor and address daily attendance issues following Kid Case Management (KCM) policy.
  • Complete and submit compliance reports to the School Operation Coordinator, School Manager, and EMT.
  • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of staff and students.
  • Oversee teaching staff to ensure quality education and proper school maintenance.
  • Manage school inventory, stock control and support facility-related initiatives.
  • Facilitate procurement processes such as vendor selection, purchasing, and payment.
  • Develop and manage the school’s budget to meet financial goals.
  • Maintain updated employee files and required HR paperwork.
  • Regularly discuss goals, progress, challenges, and action plans with school leadership.
  • Foster a supportive and respectful school culture focused on academic success, fairness, and high behavioral standards.
  • Develop team members to excel in their roles.
  • Communicate respectfully with parents/guardians, considering different cultures, values, and needs.
  • Reflect on personal performance, seek growth opportunities, and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work;
  • Bachelor degree of education, business administration or other related
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in educational organizations;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; internet and email;
  • Good command of English and Khmer languages;
  • Operations and facilities management experience;
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and to prioritize work on multiple projects;
  • Good organizational, planning, and implementation skills;
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multiple constituencies including parents, staff and students;
  • Be honest, trustworthy, team-player attitude and strong customer-service orientation;
  • Problem-solving ability of counseling, highly detail and results-oriented;
  • Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and tenacity;
  • High compassion and commitment to work with our community and children from a difficult background.
  • Working Days/Hours: 07:30am-12:00pm and 01:30pm-05:00pm from Monday to Saturday(full-time)

About Library Assistant

This role is responsible for providing services such as circulation of resources, reference and research services to staff and students from pre-school to secondary. CCF is now seeking a library assistant to be responsible for the daily operation of the library. The librarian operates under the general guidance and direct supervision of the library supervisor. The successful candidate shows a basic capacity to assume the position after training

Report to: School Operation Officer

Key liaison: Teachers, Education Team and students

Manage: N/A

Duties
  • Assist with implementing an intensive literacy program at Junior School, such as facilitating student project work and outreach to the community to borrow learning aids for students to use at home.
  • Direct the daily operation of the library to ensure that library users are using all learning resources effectively.
  • Support homeroom teachers with the library reading program
  • Attend training about library-related activities
  • Ensure the bookshelves are tidy and well-arranged and books are displayed based on student level
  • Assisting teachers and students with the use of library resources and equipment
  • Make the library attractive and accessible to all children, teachers, students, and staff including displays or by any means
  • Prepare a monthly library report related to library officer and information services
  • Plan and conduct story times, etc.
  • Make a library schedule, library rules and agreement, borrow-lend service record book by grade level
  • Perform cataloging of print, audio-visual, and electronic resources
  • Ensure the books which borrowed by students and staff return to the library timely
  • Repair damaged books so that they can be used again
  • Other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Visibly ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work;
  • At least one-year experience with related field;
  • A good knowledge of children’s books and literature;
  • Ability to work well with children;
  • Be able to use English language is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel, internet and Email);
  • Be honest and trustworthy, Patient, respectful and helpful;
  • Take responsibility, flexible and committed;
  • High compassion and commitment to work with community people and poor children;
  • Working Days/Hours: 07:30am-12:00pm and 01:30pm-05:00pm from Monday to Saturday(full-time).
