Job Description

We’re looking for a French teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the French language and culture and be able to effectively communicate with students. They will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. If you are a native French speaker or have a high level of proficiency in the language, we want to hear from you!

Duties

  • Provide instruction in French language, literature, and culture to students
  • Create courses that foster student engagement with challenging and motivating content
  • Develop high expectations and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Provide feedback to students and parents
  • Attend all school and parent meetings
  • Meet with students outside of class during their scheduled study periods
  • Provide direct instruction to students in the classroom
  • Encourage student participation in class discussions
  • Uncover new teaching strategies and materials
  • Keep abreast of research and industry trends
  • Regularly assess students’ performance and progress to ensure they reach the curriculum goals

  • Assist in the design and execution of a curriculum that meets the requirements of the students, maintaining the highest educational standards
  • Develop and implement differentiated instructional methodologies to meet the individual needs of students
  • Develop and implement curriculum and instructional design strategies for visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in student files
  • Prepare lesson plans, individual assessments, and student progress reports
  • Maintain student discipline records and record student absences
  • Work with parents to establish and maintain a positive classroom environment-Plan, organize, and conduct extracurricular activities
  • Develop and implement an ongoing professional development program for all faculty
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in French as a second language education or 2+ years’ teaching experience
  • Proven ability to teach French, including grammar, literature, and phonetics
  • Proven ability to follow lesson lesson plans
  • Teaching and organization skills
  • Patience and flexibility
  • Strong communication skills
  • Keep abreast with the latest trends and best practices

Duties
  • Responsible for the constant supervision, safety and well –being of the students.
  • Recognized and respond to the needs of each student by using developmentally, appropriate teaching and student behavior management techniques.
  • Attends and participates actively in all programs.
  • Observes and records relevant information on each students progress as required.
  • Responsible for the teacher’s development program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Chinese teaching.
  • At least two or three year experiences in teaching Chinese.
  • The age range of students is between kindergartens to primary.
  • Good command of Chinese language with both Speaking and Writing.
  • Be responsible and friendly manner in communication skill.
  • Pleasant personality and self-motivation.
  • Working Hours from Monday to Friday.
