Nexus for Development is an international not-for-profit, registered in Singapore and with a core operational team in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. We finance climate enterprises across Southeast Asia and Bangladesh, through innovative financing tools including carbon finance and impact investing.
We have a dedicated impact investing team, focused on providing affordable loans to social enterprises in that deliver climate solutions, including renewable energy, clean water, improved waste management, and sustainable agriculture – to low-income households, women and other marginalized people in the region.
We collaborate with a variety of partners around the globe, including UN EP and UN Women, to amplify our impact. Since our founding in 2009 by a coalition of development organizations, we have developed expertise in carbon finance, fund management, innovative finance, and capacity building.
