Duties
The overall job description below outlines the main areas of responsibility of the Employee:
Build the capacity of the academic and non-academic staff within the Department of Dentistry through promoting educational opportunities, leadership and support;
Oversee the provision of education of dental students in the Department of Dentistry in accordance with:
Government regulations and accreditation standards required by the relevant state institutions
Vision, mission, core values, and policies of the University of Puthisastra
International trends and best practices;
Within the constraints of the National Curriculum, improve the curriculum where possible to ensure students are getting the best education possible;
Work with the National Dental Curriculum Committee of the MOH to help develop a new dental curriculum for Cambodia;
Work closely with Deputy Head of Dentistry and lecturers to produce standard course outlines for all courses and ensure the quality of those courses, i.e. course content based on current standard textbooks and journals, and courses which are well linked from one to another;
Recruit quality lecturers and tutors, evaluate their teaching performance, and arrange necessary training to build up their capacity;
Manage the development of the new dental hospital, including design, equipment, personnel, protocols, forms, marketing, etc.
Provide sufficient supporting educational resources, eg laboratory, library, clinic etc, and help provide supporting programs such as clubs, community activities etc. for the students;
Build up academic relationships and cooperate with external institutions (local and international) to improve the university and facilitate students’ participation in workshops, conferences, exchanges, field trips etc, and link students to the potential labor market;
Create a good working environment within the Department;
Lead the budget planning for the Department of Dentistry;
Oversee the organization of the timetables, and liaise with lecturers and tutors;
Lead the research program for the Department of Dentistry.
Requirements
. Experience:
At least 5 years teaching and administration experience in a university
Regular attendance at regional dental education meetings
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Strong research background
Strong problem solving and planning skills
Strong computer skills
Familiar with current international trends in dental education
Provide leadership in the Department of Medicine, in line with UP’s Vision, Mission, Core Values and Strategic Plan, and in compliance with government regulations and internationally accepted best practices, in order to establish Cambodia’s top Medicine school
Build capacity of the Department of Medicine staff and develop the facilities, so that the school can offer a high standard of education to students
Establish partnership with health service providers in health care, research and education in Cambodia
Duties
The overall job description below outlines the main areas of responsibilities of the Employee:
Oversee and ensure all activities in the medicine department functioning smoothly according to the national curriculum, policies and guidelines of the FHS at the UP.
Build the capacity of the academic and non-academic staff within the Department of Medicine through promoting educational opportunities, leadership and support;
Oversee the provision of education of students in the Department of Medicine in accordance with:
Government regulations and accreditation standards required by the relevant state institutions

Lead the Medicine department staff to prepare action plan and budget plan

Requirements
Experience:
At least 5 years teaching and administration experience in a university
Education:
Doctor in Medicine, Msc/MPH, Doctor of Specialized medicine or PhD
Has teaching pedagogy
Prefer some education from overseas
Skills/Competencies:

Strong research background, problem solving and planning skills
60% provide transportation service by driving UP van and small car in order to support daily operation
15% support in messenger work in delivering and picking up official letters to and from ministries and companies.
15% support in event and room arrangement and management and logistic support.
05% support in admin key operation: stamp, paperwork, stock and overall work.
05% support in unexpected or new short-term project work.
Duties

Provide transportation service by driving UP van or UP motor bike in Phnom Penh and provinces.
Be a messenger to pick up/return documents from/to ministries and other institution Request, control, record, and report the consumption of fuel for the van and motor.
Support in dry stamp when needed by admin team
Support in arranging logistic for events and meetings
Perform other administrative tasks upon assignment Performs other duties as requested by his/herline manager.
Requirements
Experience:
At least 2-3 year working experience in driving or transportation service, or administration work
Education:
At least finish secondary school or a finished grade 9 or high school
Skills/Competencies:
Some command of both Khmer and English literacy (written and spoken)

The University is seeking a full-time candidate as Program coordinator and Part-Time Lecturer for the ICT Department. This role oversees the ICT Department administrative functions, and collaborates with the head of the ICT Department and other departments to support continuing ICT programs, manage and maintain day-to-day administrative support operations of the department. The role also includes lectures for subjects related to Critical Thinking.
Duties

Coordinate ICT Programs (Bachelor and Master) to scaffold student success for their further studies.
Support to faculty’s management and ensure that the ICT Department makes a full contribution to UP objectives
Work with other faculties and departments to ensure student academic and pastoral success
Assist an infrastructure for organizing teaching across the ICT Department that supports the quality of the learning environment
Develop effective links with other faculties and departments across UP
Advance and promote the ICT Department teaching agenda
Ensure appropriate management structures within ICT Department maintains high standards of teaching delivery and support on the ICT curriculum review and development
Act as an effective ambassador for UP in the external environment
