Job Purpose: The primary job responsibility is to close sales, research new accounts, maintain existing accounts and solicit new business for the Hotel KVL. The Sales Manager’s primary function is to maximize profits of the hotel through creative and selective selling.

Duties
  • KEY RESULT AREAS
  • Consistently do customer contacts with both existing customers and potential customers.
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Sales in the development of the Sales and budget preparation.
  • Handle both leisure and corporate segment and ensure the production of room nights.
  • Responsible for achieving yearly revenue targets for both Rooms & F&B.
  • Create a target account list and provides strategies for account acquisition.
  • Represent and promote the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the market and the customer base locally and internationally through Customer Relationship Management.
  • Conduct market research on the competitors and reports findings to DOSM.
  • Professionally conduct site inspections of the hotel facility.
  • Conduct Sales Calls to the domestic market and secondary cities for account development.
  • Identify and handle sales lead effectively and efficiently.
  • Represent the hotel and participate in domestic and international sales activities.
  • Act as the deputy of the Assistant Director of Sales in his/her absence.
  • Contribute and be creative to product and sales development.
  • Fulfil Customer Relationship Management responsibilities and sales goals for defining customers through planned customer interviews.
  • Monitor and report on market and competition within the own market segment.
  • Prepare and update customer management reports and ensures all necessary follow up work is carried out on time.
  • Active distribution of product information and creates awareness in the markets, and business segments or responsibility.
  • Active in participation and submission of reports at sales meetings.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating sales activities and events.
  • Manager account base and maintain all customer information up to date manually and electronically.
  • Provide on-going advice and support to staff under his/her supervision.
  • Undertake tasks as and when requested to fulfil the marketing and sales objectives of the hotel.
  • Abide by both the hotel and brand policies and procedures.
  • Analyses evaluate and improve personal performance continually.
  • Carry out other tasks as directed by the Assistant Director of Sales.
  • GENERAL
  • To respond to all enquiries within 6 hours and overseas enquiries 24 hours. Effective follow-ups are to be conducted for such enquiries.
  • To effectively utilize the standard forms and letters to ensures that such forms and letters are presented in a most professional manner.
  • To maintain an effective account and account management through Opera and to be fully competent with operating Opera Sales and Catering system.
  • To ensure that all data input in the Opera Sales and Catering is accurate and updated.
  • To trace accounts and bookings are logged into Opera Sales and Catering daily and ensures that traces are acted upon timely and thoroughly.
  • To ensure that corporate rate letters, correspondence and other important documentation are prepared in a meticulous detail and presented in the most professional manner.
  • To ensure that group resume, long stay memo, site inspection memo, VIP List and others important information are distributed to support department in a timely manner.
  • To be fully responsible for recording and maintaining accurate room rates and guest’s
  • preference.
  • To maintain the highest standard in grooming.
  • To ensure the cleanliness of workplace and its surrounding area.
Requirements

  • Education / qualification: Bachelor Degree

Job Purpose: To inspect, repair and maintain all aspects of hotel & VCLP (Vattanac Capital Lifestyle Park) F&B outlets infrastructure and ensure the safety of all guests and associates; and to provide efficient and effective administrative support for the General Manager. Moreover, s/he is in charge of all preventive maintenance program, daily engineering support operations to ensure that department run smoothly to minimize machine down and guest’s complaint.

Duties
  • JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement maintenance program.
  • Ensure that hotel and all F&B outlets are safe, comfortable and efficient.
  • Be familiar and comply with the hotel mission and vision in performing maintenance activities.
  • Maximize maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, associates and owners’ satisfaction.
  • Represent the engineering department to attend daily HoD briefing.
  • Prioritize, plan and assign schedule and supervise the engineering staff.
  • Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel including physical, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
  • Install and maintain all equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, Water Treatment, Fire Safety, etc.
  • Ensure proper records are kept related to all plant and equipment for the hotel including repair and service records.
  • Prepared reports as requested by General Manager.
  • Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure the proper use and periodic maintenance of all equipment.
  • Perform daily and weekly property document inspections.
  • Develop and implement all emergency programs.
  • Ensure that all engineering staff wears proper uniforms and upholds hotel grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Be responsible for quality service, meeting financial goals, short and long term planning and day-to-day operations.
  • GENERAL
  • Contribute to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by preventive maintaining effective relationships with hotel colleagues.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of engineering functions and makes appropriate suggestions and recommendations to the Engineering Manager.
