About Green Economic Resilient (GER)
As part of IMPACT's Green Economic Resilience thematic area, this initiative helps local communities, farmers, youth, and small businesses build stronger livelihoods and better withstand environmental challenges. Farmers receive hands-on training, coaching, and inputs to adopt climate-smart practices, improve processing, and meet organic and quality standards, alongside efforts to enhance carbon storage in protected forest areas. To drive local business growth, the program provides startup incubation, helps scale agricultural cooperatives, and offers practical financial training covering everything from digital tools to cash flow management. It also connects informal workers to formal social protection networks and bridges local producers directly to private-sector buyers and digital markets, creating lasting economic stability and growth across the community.
