Main Duties and Responsibilities
Plant Manager will responsible for the overall management of production and cost optimization, product quality, product safety, and R&D; also to coordinate with farming, sourcing and supply chain for a smooth production according to the demands.
Plant Manager’s duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Production Operations
- Plan, organize, and oversee all production activities for dried pepper, salted pepper, dried root, dried chili, spice mixes, infusio products, and other products as demands.
- Ensure production targets, timelines, and quality standards are achieved efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Supervise the production team leaders in factory to ensure the smooth production as planned.
- Manage production costs and ensure resource optimization (labor, materials, utilities).
- Collaborate monthly with all departmental areas to collect and centralize reports on Operation KPIs, Optimization Projects, and other tools; analyze data to identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative ideas to streamline operational activities.
- Oversee maintenance plan to ensure all machinery and equipment are safe, reliable, and efficient.
- Quality and Food Safety
- Ensure all production processes comply with GHP, HACCP, ISO:22000, and Organic certification standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to maintain product quality and food safety across all processing steps.
- Promote a strong culture of food safety, GMP, and hygiene within the plant.
- Support continuous improvement in quality assurance and quality control systems.
- Team Leadership and Coordination
- Lead, motivate, and evaluate the factory management teams and workers.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Farm, Sourcing, and Quality team to ensure smooth factory operations and product availability.
- Manage the R&D Manager to support new product development and process improvements.
- Monitor and resolve technical issues raised by customers to improve satisfaction and product performance.
- Health, Safety, and Environment
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized working environment in full compliance with legal health safety standards and World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).
- Other Duties
- Perform any other related tasks as assigned by directors.
- Khmer - Fluent
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent level, Engineering is preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, product optimization or project management. Experience is food safety is preferred
- Technical skill: Project management, Change management, Product planification, Food safety skill is preferred.
- Specific knowledge: Lean management, six sigma, supply chain, productions optimization
